I recommend NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Read the reviews of their alternative company name, American Fast Floors. If you do buy something, use an actual credit card or pay option that protects you. Here's what you can do after you realize you have a problem (this is what I did after not receiving product or a refund). They'll tell you it will take up to 15 business days to refund you. I did not get my refund in 15 business days and kept getting an excuse. Just go to your credit card company, file a dispute and start the process of "merchant charge back". That's right the merchant will get charged back. Or if you live in the state, just take the owners to small claims court, why not? The owners of this company appear to have multiple businesses related to flooring, according to public records. I can't tell for sure if any of them have been dissolved. Their names are Bryan Gillis and Robert Higgins (their email addresses are likely the same format as the other employees; first name at-----) or you can find their email addresses under the alternative company name. The alternative company name is American Fast Floors, (according to the BBB in Florida). I encourage you to copy and paste your review for this alternative company name as well. When I called the West Coast phone number for American Flooring Distributors, Inc., I learned it was a cell phone and I did not leave a message. Well guess who's cell phone it was? It was the manager of American Fast Floors (Marion) who called back my number asking if she could help me with something. I explained that I had been waiting for her to refund me, but I took matters into my own hands. This next step is extremely IMPORTANT - file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and follow up with the FTC once they review your claim - keep pushing the rep to really look into this company and any affiliated with these owners, such as American Flooring Distributors. Lastly, please file a complaint with the South East Florida BBB - tell them about the pattern of customer experiences in the online reviews, they'll take it to the media and warn other consumers.

I feel like I was scammed. I ordered Schluter items through American Flooring Distributors' website. The closest I came to receiving my purchase was a Fed Ex label being printed by AFD. The items were never shipped, nor was I given an explanation, nor was I refunded. Calling AFD was a waste of time; I was usually on hold for 30+ minutes, disconnected most times. When I did reach someone, the excuses for not shipping my purchase were an insult. I was told Fed Ex lost the shipment, confusion with which items I ordered, Schluter doesn't have my items in inventory and will have to make them and finally, they haven't sent the items because it has been so long since ordering, that I may no longer need them. I finally cancelled my order and requested a refund. It was naive of me to expect AFD to honor the refund. I paid for the items using PayPal, so I've filed a claim. Still waiting for this to resolve and my money to be refunded. I really wonder if AFD is a legitimate flooring company that supplies customers with orders. In my case there wasn't any indication that AFD would send my items or refund my purchase. It's almost like they tried to frustrate me enough to forget my purchase or money. Not likely. PayPal should resolve my claim but, I'll never get back lost time or frustration.
