Think again when you are buying kitchen cabinets! I would have bought any other stores for sure !
Think again if you want to buy cabinets from this company!
Since I purchased the kitchen cabinets in April, I have been back to the store many times to try to exchange the cracked doors. All this past nearly 6 months, I have about 180 emails threads trying to verify the stocks and conditions of the doors along with the new shipments.
I have spent nearly 2.5 to 3 hours everytime trying to go thru their existing inventories but found out very few not cracked or cracked a little. The problem is that even with exchanged doors just came from the new shipment, they looked fine but started cracking even bigger and longer after 2 to 3 days. With this experience, I started to ask people at a different time and-and even the Store Manager to find the doors for me before I went back because I have spent so much time going thru their inventories and I did not have any confidence from the new shipments anymore.
This week, the store manager informed me that he was able to find some good doors and has put those doors aside for me to pick up. When I went to the store to pick them up yesterday, even the store manager was surprised to see the doors he opened and checked and looked fine but started to crack even just within a day or two.
In the last 6 months, my kitchen looks like a grocery store with all kitchenwares and foods exposed without the doors here and there. Not only It has caused tremendous stress and inconvenience to my family but I also have to spend extra money to take down and install back and forth. I have been informed since the 1st exchange that warehousemen have told the manufactures about the defects but the new shipments came in once a month in June, July, August, and September even October all have the same issues or even worst. I was told that there are many people returning this set of doors (Victoria style) due to poor and sub-standard quality and paint and temperature fluctuate from the heat and cold during the shipping could also have caused these cracks.
Due to my building permit is about to be expired, I had no choice and did not anticipate such poor quality, I requested to switch the door style/doors to make this process easier. However, the store manager and sales rep all said that owner disapproved it and asked me to keep on exchanging the doors. After nearly 6 months trying to exchange doors, I have lost confidence in this product line. I do not have time to wait further more. All of this extra time, engery, money and gas driving back and forth...... I am speechless and very frustrated. I even have asked for owner's contact information, they would not give it to me until yesterday after store manager realized that the doors he picked were fine but looked awful when I was ready to pick them up.
When I was purchasing these doors, I was informed that the product line of Victoria is the most expensive doors in the store. They asked how many I have not installed so they can resell them but I told them they are all cracked and how would others want those doors ? They informed me that the other doors that I have no choice but willing to switch to is the same cost. Yet, when I pushed them to ask again, they told me I have to purchase complete new doors including modling, toe kick. I really could have bought similar doors from other stores for much cheaper prices. It is very frustrating to learn that they only care about their own profits but not the quality they deliver and customer satisfaction. The issue is the quality control from manufacture in China, not me. I am a victim and I also have learned that there are many victims too. I am waiting for owners to get back to me to resolve this since no one at store could help me further. I hope they are able to help me as soon as possible.
