I attempted to give a flooring repair job to SLF. I had not read the other reviews here until now, But the owner did come out and pulled up wet carpeting and flooring ruined by a leak. He later forgot one important thing, The customer is always right. Respectfully he kept repeating, " I will not even start the job until the flooring is dry. Wet or dry, I know for a fact the leak had been repaired and the fiberwood flooring was sagging when I walked on it, telling me it needed to be replaced before I walked on it and fell through it. He insisted he would NOT start the repair until the ruined under-lament was dry. I told him to bill me for the emergency tear-up work he did and I would be hiring another contractor. I likely now will do the repair job myself.

When major problems developed the owner became defensive and rude. They broke one of the written contracts they had with me and I ended up hiring someone else to do the job. The new guy did a fantastic job and charged me less then half of what Shasta Lake Floors was going to charge.

My second review, first one was erased.(it wasn't a good review) Most unprofessional business owner I have ever delt with. He will double talk you until your hear spins. I would not let Shasta lake floors sweep my floors let alone install anything. Take this as a warning DO NOT USE SHASTA LAKE FLOORS FOR HOME OR BUSINESS. terrible craftmenship, multiple returns for repairs and (fixes) . Charges you extra, and does less actual work then agreed apon. I can't belive there still in business just by seeing there work....bad. bad. Bad
