I was at Lowe's with my 4 year old grandson & husband last night. We visited the garden center for some top soil, play sand, & vegetable seeds. The cashier; Kara was extremely helpful, & my grandson liked her so much that he gave her a kiss & thanked her for helping us! She was even able to direct us to items (play sand and vegetable seeds) that weren't located in the garden center! The store was closing, and when my grandson expressed his concern that we would be in trouble for still being in the store, she told him that they wouldn't close until he had everything he needed for his sandbox and garden. Great staff! The garden center was very clean, and I could have spent all day shopping!😊 It was the first trip to a garden center for my grandson, and he went to bed late tonight because he couldn't stop talking about all of the plants, the nice cashier lady Kara, and his sand for his sandbox! Way to go Lowe's! We give you: 👍👍

Great selection of just about anything the home owner could need for any home project. The garden center is awesome with a grand selection of plants that are specific to the location of the store. Nice selection of different pavers, and now they are selling craftsman tools. My favorite home improvement store by far.

Shopping for a wicker look deck storage box. Found what we wanted with the help of two super nice store employees who checked their inventory to find that the display model was the only one in the store. We asked if they could discount it due to being a floor model. They asked the passing manager who stated that he couldn't because it was literally built 5 days ago. THAT I totally understand and can appreciate. However, he went on to say that if we didn't absolutely need it, he would rather not sell it. I told him that if he didn't want to sell it, we didn't want to buy it. I thanked them for their help and just parked at Home Depot. I would never treat a buying customer that way. P.S. If we didn't absolutely need it, we wouldn't be shopping for one.

I paid $6,300 for whole-house carpet and installation back in December. No one ever called to set up a date for install. When I called them in January to check, they said it was “on back order” but no one had ever called to tell me this; I could have had it done by Home Depot by now. Fast forward to late Jan. carpet is installed and when they leave I can’t open the pocket sliding door to my bedroom. EVENTUALLY carpet salesman and door installer come out and the rollers have been damaged in Installation process. Door installer tells me in Feb. he will order them. March, still no call, no repair. Store manager stalls, plays dumb, “doesn’t know anything”, needs to check, says he will get back to me, never does. I call back, now he says they will “overnight” the rollers from mfr. That was last week / late March now. Called Corporate office. They have now notified “Marketing Director”. Stay tuned - and never buy carpet or installation from Lowe’s Port Charlotte.

Everytime I come here, I leave aggravated! The customer servce is terrible! I called and the phone rang for 15 minutes, no one answered. The women at the customer service pretend they don't see you and carry on and ignore you!
