Recently moved to a new home with beautiful wooden stairs up to the second floor. They were hard on the feet and the dog slipped once and she would not climb them again. These treads were just the answer that we were looking for - they stick flawlessly to the stairs without a slip. We used the larger rug that came with the treads on the landing and purchased a different rug for the bottom of the stairs. We also purchased a 20 foot custom cut matching bound piece for the upstairs balcony hall. It was not available with the sticky back, but the length of the piece keeps it in place. We and the dog thank you, Dean Flooring, for saving our stairs and giving them a big "wow" factor at the same time.

These are the worse step mats. They are not safe to steps due they move out of place. They also move out of place with rai and wind even with carpet double sided tape added to them. These are unsafe to the public. I do not recommend anyone to buy these mats for public use. The company Dean Flooring would not except their product back on these mats, do try. So do not buy.

I ordered a set of stair treads and received them exactly as advertised within the time frame promised. When you place an order, bear in mind that the shipping time frame of 2-3 days begins when they email that it has been shipped. Allow time for processing.

I would like to thank Dean Flooring and especially Kristen for her professional help, knowledge and most of all her patients in dealing with me and my many questions and calls in my search for a custom area rug. Thanks...Pinecone area rug WAS PERFECT! Randy

Disappointing to see that this company has gotten so many negative reviews when our experience with them has been wonderful. We needed to get stair treads for our older dog, but were hesitant because we didn’t want anything that would adhere to our stairs permanently or cause any damage if we want to take them up. The person that we spoke to on the customer service line was super friendly and put her mind at ease that these tape free pet friendly nonslip stair gripper treads would be perfect for our house. We bought them and could not agree more. They are awesome if you have a pet and want to have a good solution for them to get safely up-and-down the stairs and want to be able to remove them in the future. They don’t budge at all and it helps us when we move down the stairs quickly as well. I don’t know how this make this work but it’s amazing! We’ve referred several coworkers and friends to this company.
