Luna Flooring Gallery

From the time I walked into the Luna Gallery on Rt. 59 all the way through the installation four days ago, my experience with Luna was stellar. I had a bad experience with attempts to order carpeting several months ago from the big box store close by, one of the largest companies in the USA. My daughter bought from Luna and was very pleased. Knowing that I still wanted the rooms and stairs carpeted she recommended I give them a go. My salesman, Dan, was most pleasant. They do not charge to measure, so that was a big plus. I had paid the big box store to measure, and even though they couldn’t supply the carpet I had chosen from the carpet samples in the store, they would not refund my money. The gentleman who came to measure was exactly on time and extremely efficient. I chose the color and style and product I wanted on the recommendation of the sales staff. I paid half down and thought I’d be waiting a while. A few days later I got a call saying my carpeting was in and they’d like to set up an install date. Another plus with Luna is they do not charge extra to move big pieces of furniture. The big box store did add in a charge. The installers called between 8am & 10am as I was told they would. They went right to work taking out the old carpeting and preparing the two bedrooms and staircase to install the new carpeting. They were most professional and efficient. It took them just a tad less than 5 hours. I was so impressed with the workmanship, plus the fact that every thing was cleaned up. The carpeting in the bedrooms and closets as well as the staircase looks stunning. Both the carpet quality and the installation quality couldn’t be better. All the big pieces of furniture (including a queen sized bed, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, bookcases, a desk, a triple dresser with a huge mirror, an armoire, a twin bed, and more) were put back in place without a scratch to the walls or woodwork. The balance owed is paid when they’re done and you are pleased with everything. The carpeting looks so beautiful. I would not want to be a carpet installer, especially on stairs! I never realized how hard this is in order to get it perfect. But that’s what they did! They worked very hard and it couldn’t look more perfect. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because I would.

Very good shopping experience. They listened to what we had planned, made a number of suggestions with good explanation of the reasons for their recommendations, helped us select the appropriate hardwood for our family room, and did a first class job of installing the product on time and on budget with no surprises. Definitely recommend.
