I understand its a small town furniture store, but unless you have a lump sum of money lying around to drop on a bed that you can probably find someone else for a much cheaper price, like Nebraska Furniture Mart, I would not recommend going here for Furniture. It's too overprice.

Piss poor customer service! The wife and I were in the market for a new mattress, we went to ruddicks Saturday afternoon and found a mattress for $1700. I felt the price was a lil steep turns out that Josh told me they would price match any mattress on their floor. We found the exact bed on multiple sites for an average price $970. The spring count, pillow top foam thickness, over all mattress thickness, etc were identical. Josh wouldn't price match and kept saying it was a more expensive bed. My wife text him multiple times in attempt for him to prove what his bed was, (because truthfully it wasn't worth another trip to ft scott just to look at a label if josh wanted to make a sale and has nothing to hide, I would assume he'd send the pictures via text message.. dont get me wrong he did send a couple pics, of the wrong mattress all together! Bottom line don't tell a customer you will price match if you aren't willing to price match.

The folks at Ruddicks were very nice. We bought a small house and wanted a bed delivered the day we closed so we had a place to sleep. Bought a basic double and box spring and frame. Delivered Jan 30, 2017. By mid-April, the box spring was so warped and making so much noise as we get in and out of bed, it was ridiculous. We can't turn over without very loud creaking, groaning noises from the bed. The mattress is 53" wide, not the standard 54". We were told there was a one month warranty so there's nothing we can do about it. Worthless bed. Would never buy at Ruddick's again.
