I would like to say a special THANK YOU to the shaved headed female employee for personally ensuring that I never shop at this location again. The only reason we came here was for a $1000 purchase that our usual store on Alexis Ave. did not have. I am a disabled veteran and have difficulty especially with heavy items. This woman was ignoring my need for assistance. She just stared at me whle she was yapping with her co-worker about how she doesn't care if customers don't like her facial expressions (true conversation). When I tried to lift the item, some sort of audible alarm sounded on the device. This angered the skin head woman because now she had to come over and silence the alarm. When she finally came over, I asked her why there was an alarm on the tool, she replied "so you don't steal it". That was an insult. I told her that I usually shop at the other store on Alexis and they don't put these alarms on all of their tools. She replied "Well, they're idiots and they don't know what they are doing". Now she insulted my mother, who in fact works in the tool section at the Alexis store. After she said that, she shoved the item back under the counter and walked away. As she was walking away I said "I wanted to buy that". She just stared at me. Clearly with her clever insults she was smart enough to see I wasn't in a position to lift the tool. I asked her "could you help me put this in the cart?" With some sort of aggravated grunts and growls, she put the box in my cart and immediately walked away again before I could ask her any questions. While she continued to talk with her co-worker, she watched me while I was trying to read electrical information from the box. Again, I'm sure she was smart enough to see that I was still needing assistance in her department, as I tried to look at the display for another five minutes. She refused to help me. Not sure if I needed any other accessories, I was tired of her watching me and refuse to assist with questions or help with the item. When I checked out, she followed me to the cash register and observed me from a distance. When she heard me talking about the problem with the alarms and how I was physically unable to pick up the box, she then came closer to listen to the conversation. She stayed close to see if I was going to ask for a manager. At that point I was determined to walk out of the store and never return. I don't like being insulted by employees, watched like a criminal, and then harassed when I tell another store employee about my displeasure of the shopping experience. This report has also been filed with Lowe's home office.

Went in the store for light bulbs and we were greeted and directed to the isle for what we needed. Rob was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with finding us the correct bulbs. Scott was also very friendly as we discussed mutual interest. Everytime we come to this location we leave knowing we have exactly what we need with exceptional customer service.

Coming from a night shift work, me & my husband randomly thought of dropping by Lowe's in Sylvania to buy a lawn mower blade. On our way in, my attention got caught by a nice outdoor swing displayed outside with a price on it, & that I really liked. I took photos of all of the three displays so i can show whoever in the store can help us. A very pleasant lady staff with long hair helped us...very polite and works with enthusiasm, she walked extra miles to find the item for us but there was none available in a box. However, she gave all her best to help---she ushered us to the cashier so we can be helped. We expressed our desire that we are willing to buy the display if there is no available boxed one. This part of the entire transaction is the START of the VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!! SADLY, with the STORE MANAGER SARAH itself! She meddled with what was going on, she acted like she is just one of the cashiers, not introducing herself as manager (which she only did, WHEN we requested to talk to a manager because she was argumentative on what we wanted to buy) All staff who we talked to were all very willing to let us purchase the display item that has the price tag but Sarah insisted not to sell it to us. She came up to a reason to outsmart a customer. She did not have any consideration of the fact that THERE WAS A FALSE ADVERTISEMENT committed in behalf of the store's mistake. WORST PART? Sarah promised to call us once she finds out the item number. She took our name & number. Never got a call, no voice message even(if she did "call"???)That was on May 9, Wednesday. So, we went back to personally follow up, the cashier said Sarah was somewhere around, but when she tried to call her, apparently she is "not around" & she is running late that day. It is now May 14, nothing heard from the store "MANAGER" "SARAH"!!! What kind of manager is this store chain hiring? No ettiquette whatsoever. She should have followed up on us & update us. Very unprofessional! Totally uncalled for!!! I am very disappointed in this store. We have bought thousands of dollars for their products in the past... our deck, attic, & a whole lot of projects in the past. We even have a credit card on this store which I believe is for their benefit, mostly. Patronizing their products did not give us a single consideration for this one SMALL item that we wanted to buy. I am not recommending this store. There are other competitors like Home Depot & Menards! Home Depot has a better customer service, frankly!

I average at least 1 hr per week in this store and have for over 5 years either looking at items or directly purchasing an item ... I have purchased the smallest of an item from a bolt and nut to 17 replacement windows and have found the entire staff to be the best of the best ! I hope this never changes !!
