Came to Lowe's looking to purchase a grill, Tia was exceptional on helping me find the grill i was looking for! She also went above and beyond to find accessories for me , she walked to the other side of the store so i didn't have to! She also grabbed 3 different stainless steel cleaners for me and priced them out for me as i stood in line waiting for check out. She was professional, knowledgeable and quick with a solution. She definitely made the experience stress free! I;m all about giving reviews where they are due, and she really went above and beyond for me! Also the Deandra at check out was quick and knowledgeable as well about the rebate questions i had. Five star service all around!!

I've been here twice and will not return. The first time I went to buy a furnace humidifier. The only mid level one they had in stock was opened, returned and opened again. You could tell from the cut tape on the opened box. Looking through it I was skeptical that all the components were there. Being this is a $200 unit I was hesitant to just buy it and figure it out. I took it to the customer service counter and asked them if they had any more. "If its not on the shelf then we don't have it". I asked about the open box hoping to have them offer a 10% comp or something and all I got was "I can have our plumbing guy take a look and make sure its all there". I didn't want to take my chances so I returned it to the shelf and left. Second time I was at another location (due to my previous encounter) and was looking for a set of blinds. The store I was at (further North) only had one in stock so I asked if another store around had one. They looked in their system and found the store in Westland said they had one. Reluctantly I had them call. They took over 30 min and had to call 3 or 4 times to finally have someone do a stock check. They said they had it so I went down there again. Of course they did not have the correct blinds so I ended up returning them both. I've never had bad luck with Lowe's but this one has burned be twice and I wont be back. Other than the customer service received the store seemed clean and like any other Lowe's.

This is equally close to a competitor store. I am done with this location and potentially Lowe's overall. No one is ever seen to offer assistance, despite the store's size. You can easily wander for a great deal of time with no clue as to where you need to go. Then, if you do find someone, they tell you that whatever you are looking for is not their department. We were shopping for a snow blower and were comparing different models. An associate would have been very helpful, but none appeared. Those who walked by ignored us. I'm through.

There are not enough workers to help people who have questions, or wonder where a certain item is. Thr check out girl didn't bag my bagable items. But...they do have a GREAT SELECTION OF MANY, MANY ITEMS!

I ordered a refrigerator on March 20th and it was not installed until April 3rd due to misinformation and dropping the ball. First the refrigerator was never ordered when I purchased it (they even called the night before it was supposed to be delivered to confirm and give me a window of time). I never received a phone call to cancel or reschedule delivery. I had to call them hours after it was supposed to be delivered to find out that it had been 'cancelled at 9:38 that morning.' After repeated phone calls I finally got in touch with an assistant manager who said they would deliver the next morning. Morning came and went with no further communication. That afternoon they came but we could not find the shut off valve for the water for the fridge. They left the refrigerator in the garage stating they would come back another day after I found the shut off. I found it within 5 minutes of them leaving but still had to reschedule for another day. He did mention that if I wanted to, I could put in a shut off valve directly behind the fridge. The next time, different guys came out and they were sure they wouldn't be working - walked in saying that they would not install without a shut off valve behind the fridge on the same floor. Said the 1st set of guys should have told me but they 'had a history of just leaving and not telling the customer it was a requirement." So I called the store yet again and was told by the assistant manager that I had been working with that 'he didn't know it was Lowe's policy - he had only been an Asst manager for 2 months.' So he set up another appt. to install and told me to just install the valve yourself. Not one time did ANYONE from Lowe's call me back when they said they would and never without me calling first. The 3rd time the install guys were out they did install the refrigerator but the lack of professionalism, lack of knowledge, and absolute lack of concern was unacceptable. The only compensation I received was a small discount off the price of the fridge. I guarantee the next $3000 I spend on appliances will be elsewhere.
