We had a great experience with H and H when our rental has needed new carpet. They gave great advice on which carper was best for a rental and we couldn't be happier. Now 1.5 years later carpet still looks great. They were prompt and attentive to our needs. Installers completely cleaned up after installing. We are looking forward to having them do new floors for our personal home soon.

H&H replaced carpet in our home. Steve helped us select the color and brand. His professional opinion was greatly appreciated. We were very happy with installation and carpet. Jim W

Honest, friendly, and knowledgeable would be 3 words that speak to our experience with H & H. From start to finish our experience was A+. Any time and effort you spend with this store will be time well spent.

We had new tile installed in our home at the beginning of August (1000 sq ft). We asked Bob Colby repeatedly to be given a realistic timeline since we had travel planned and wanted to make sure we were home for the whole job and no one would be rushed. We were assured by Bob it would take a week tops. We planned our travel to leave in 1.5 weeks, assuming we were giving them a couple days extra wiggle room. When the two contractors showed up, they immediately told us it was a 2 week job, if not longer. We told them that Bob had assured us it would only take a week. They were able to get it done in about 1.5 weeks (showing up late several days and leaving fairly early on several, although they did work a half day on a Sunday for us). However, I think they rushed and did an extremely poor job because of it. The wood-look tile we chose had long planks, so Bob told us beforehand that there may be some "toe-kickers" if the floor underneath wasn't level. Well, even though these contractors leveled some of the floor (that we paid for), there are SO MANY uneven tiles that it looks like it was a do-it-yourself job. Many of these are right in the middle of rooms where they are very obvious. Poor, poor workmanship all around. A different contractor who installed our new baseboard told us that it looked like they just didn't use enough mortar in many places, causing low points and gaps all around the walls. We also noticed 2 tiles that were chipped in the kitchen, but left like that instead of being replaced. After the job was done, Bob was more than happy to immediately call us and get our payment, but never came to our house to inspect the work. I would never hire this company again to do any work for us and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Additionally, the contractors were rude, even though we always addressed our concerns and questions in a respectful way, and made inappropriate jokes many times - completely unprofessional.
