I usually shop in Lowe's in the Phoenix area, however, we stopped in this Lowe's as we were passing through to southern Colorado. I was asked if I needed assistance by several associates. Adam in appliances was especially helpful. I have never had this positive of experience in any of the Lowe's visited in the Phoenix area and will definitely use this Lowe's in the future for my Colorado purchases.

Was what I thought to be a good experience and have shopped there for many years for home improvements. However, I recently went to have a bathroom remodel project estimate, and am very very disappointed!!! I have already bought a toilet and sink from Lowes, need tub and tile and fixtures and what not to complete job and labor to do work. While the in store associate was nice during the initial visit while we walked through store choosing all my items, I made the comment that I know a superb floor and tile guy, I noticed an instant attitude change but at the tine thought little about it. I gave her drawing and all measurements and clearly let her know I was looking for estimates. Some time went by, 2 weeks, I contacted store and was appalled at what I was told. That it is the busy season, and that customers who were basically committed had priority , my estimate was not. Unhappy as I was I let her and the store know,, suddenly I received the absolute most outlandish estimate ever!!!!! I am through with Lowes, just as they are with my favorite nascar driver!! There are plenty other places I can get my bathroom products from and the work done without such terrible customer service!

So, lets start with this. When i worked for Home Depot each employee was given $25-$50 leeway to assure the customer doesn't leave to go Lowes if an item was not in stock, or for customer satisfaction, to price match, or to upgrade the customer to a better item if the one they wanted was discontinued or out of stock. The theory was that HD would rather lose money in profit than to give Lowes a sale, and perhaps lose that customer to them. So today i went in to Lowes to purchase some track lighting. The one i looked for was discontinued. But there was a similar one for $20 more. After 15 min searching for the lighting dept employee, he told me no, the one i wanted is out of stock, no Lowes isn't getting anymore, no i can't buy the display, and NO he will not sell the the $72 light for the $52 price. Oh, and no he does not know when more track lighting is coming in....even the manager doesnt know. So we put $75 of other items back on the shelf and headed for Home Depot. A shame to lose $125 in sales over $20. But i'm not going to pay more for what i really don't want. Wow. HD is beating Lowes in the stock market. Now we know why.

Darrell helped me so much, not only with picking a fixture, with the correct bulbs. And he had the pacience to explain the differences in them. He also assisted with picking ceiling fans!! I am all set to change the look of my house!! Give this man a raise! He has gone above and beyond!!! The store in Farmington exemplifies and embodies the meaning of customer service!! Not in just one department buy all!!! From Hank that deals with the coplexities of window and fence for a rental to the managers that over see every detail when I had questions or something didn't work quite right. Service is amazing in Farmington, NM.
