Typical for large chain store. I needed help finding an item that the website said they had in stock. Asked three different times for help to be sent to that section. The first employee that responded had no clue at all and seemed disinterested in trying to get a clue. The second employee was at least able to help me find the right area but unable to find the item. Either the website was wrong or the location did not keep proper account of products. I decided on a different brand of the item and was able to use it for what I needed. It's just unfortunate that we have come to expect poor customer service these days.

Customer Service has gone down the tubes. Needed a hardwood floor. I was told that after the floor was measured, Lowes would get with me in 2 days. A week later I had to go in to get someone to actually sell me their floor. Paid 3K and was told I would be contacted in 2-3 days to set up install and delivery of floor. A week later, I had to call them. I was told an installer would call me, but this time they wouldn't commit to when. Had I not needed to match existing floor, I certainly would go elsewhere. Terrible customer service.

Not many folks here are willing to spend the time helping a customer find something. One young man looked directly at me as I waved to him for help. He promptly turned the opposite direction and disappeared in the employees section of the store. There was one rather pleasant young man that spent time helping me with a quick decision concerning drills. To him, I give thanks for taking time out of your other duties to help me!

Typical big box store experience. Most employees seem to avoid helping customers. Contractors often have to wait in line behind old women buying flowers. Would be nice if a checkout on the lumber side of the store was for contractors only.
