After not being approached by employees that walked past me without offering help, I found the area I wanted. I did not find what I wanted and left the store empty handed.
I worked at this Lowe's location for six years and in retail for another 30 years. We were taught to approach customers and ask if they needed assistance. Now, the customer has to approach the employees, who are to busy talking to one another to be bothered approaching a customer.
In no way is this an isolated incident. I have encountered the same attitude in many other stores. The larger the business, the worse the service has become.
I won't return to any of your locations. I will get what I want from Amazon or another internet source. Keep up the low effort customer service attitude and you won't have to worry about these types of responses.
