Beware of Home Depot's price gouging techniques. We saw an electric range priced at $548 that we were thinking of purchasing approximately 10 days before their Memorial Day sale. We returned on Memorial Day and that exact range was priced at $598. Home Depot needs to change their advertising to "Memorial Day GOUGE" instead of " sale."

I went to get a lawn mower and a chainsaw and none of the employees would assist me I got my heavy mower on the cart and could not find the chainsaw I asked for help numerous times to different employees and they just walked away it was insane then when I was checking out the cashier didn't care that I couldn't find the chainsaw nor did she want to help me get it. I also had to lift the mower into my car by myself luckily a nice samaritin came over and helped me over all it was a bad experience

Good selection of materials, but the pros end there. So like any chain of hardware stores, this Home Depot has anything and everything you need. BUT (and it's a big but), good luck finding it. Nothing is organized by where it should be, which would be fine, if there were any employees around to ask where it was located. I mean, I'm not hard to please, but I shouldn't have to reenact the chase scene from Fast & Furious just to try to nail down an employee to ask them a question. But hey, I understand the employes have social lives too, as evidenced by the one who stood less then 10' away from me playing on his phone while I struggled to load paneling onto a cart (which, inexplicably, are also nearly nonexistent). But, a good pro-tip, if you feel like enduring the sighs and eye-rolling when asking for help, there's normally 8-12 people behind the "customer service" center you could ask for help. You won't have to look hard to find them, they're the ones trying (and failing) to give the impression they're actually working. Anyways, if you want to be ignored and be left alone, this is the store to come to. If you have questions or need help, go to Buffalo or Brockport.

The website was very helpful. It told me what isle and what bay my product was in which made shopping very easy. The cashier was really nice and was actually interested in what I had to say about the product I was buying. I was pleased with my experience.

Go to Rochester or Buffalo. Employees are never around to here. Manager was very rude, and must not like helping people. I had $3000 cash with me to buy 2 items, and they couldn't help me. Looks like I start looking for a new place. Lowes isn't that far away. Of course they left here, and we get stuck with the worse of the 2.
