Always helpful, good prices, knowledgeable staff. The quality of their inventory always exceeds expectations. I never have a problem with returning items. It's they do have something they can order it's for you and it will be within a few days. They always accept my discount coupons and or honor any competitors price if you find the same product for a cheaper price and can show them proof of such. The store is almost always clean. Well lit, it's easy to navigate the isle's, the description of the isle's are accurate. They also have a very nice live plant selection outside. Their plants are always beautiful, healthy, and prosperous. If for any reason the plants you purchase don't do well you can take them back to the store (within a few days of original purchase) with a receipt and they will allow you to exchange them out or give a refund.

Love going to this store. Everyone is friendly & very helpful. They have everything you need for most home projects plus beautiful flowers & shrubs to beautify you home. And to top it all off, it's based in North Carolina.

Love going to a store that sells tools and hardware. If you are looking for a specific item or in the mood to just look or even blow money on some really cool stuff this is a great store for that. On the the other hand if you need some guidance or some knowledgeable help on a project or how to even your in the wrong place. Don't get me wrong most are willing to give advice but it can't say it will be good advice. More like a guess or a hopeful idea. If you follow their advice then plan on making a few trips to the store

Lowes home improvement in Salisbury... you can do better. Today we were met with terrible customer service and a "I just work here" attitude even from the manager. On a trip that originated to look at paint colors, We found a dining room chandelier we loved with no price tag. When the lighting employee looked it up, turns out it was the last one, and it was discontinued. She said that the price would likely be reduced if we wanted to buy the floor model. Perfect! The only catch was that the guy that takes the floor models down only comes around every now and then, so we would have to wait until then to pick it up. No problem since our under construction house isn't even ready for fixtures yet. The employee sent us to customer service to get it all squared away. Upon getting to customer service, we explained what we were trying to do... pay for the fixture... and she called a manager to help us. The manager finally comes to us, and we explain again that we would like to pay for the fixture and pick it up after it was taken down by the authorized personnel. His immediate response was "How am I supposed to do that?". Ryan and I looked at each other a little confused, and suggested taking our money, marking it as sold, and giving us a call when it was taken down. He again responded, acting quite irritated, "How am I supposed to do that?" I suggested a solution again, in more detail since apparently it was quite the predicament. "Maybe put a sold sign on it with our name or a customer number, and store our phone number to call when it's taken down?" Again, this manager responds "How would I do that? There is no computer system for that." Seriously?? In one final effort, I ask if there is any way he would take my money in exchange for the light that was on display. He informed me the only way to do this would be to come back when the guy takes it down and buy it off the clearance rack. I asked when that would be, and his response, you guessed it, "How am I supposed to know that?" We'll be buying our 30 some fixtures for our house elsewhere. Worthless.
