This location was much better than the Apex - Beaver Creek location. Not only did someone actually answer the phone but the gentleman was very helpful and quick with processing my order. I was buying a washer and dryer for my new home - he knew exactly what accessories would come with it, too. I did have a slight hold time getting transferred to customer service to pay for the purchase but I was just happy to have someone actually pick up. Hopefully delivery and installed go as smooth as the phone call did. I called that Apex location 3 times and not one person answered. If you are buying stuff in Apex I recommend Home Depot. This Cary Lowe's is good if you prefer Lowe's to Home Depot.

Went into the store to pick out carpet for my room and the hallway. That was 2 months ago and I still haven't gotten the carpet put in. A few days after picking out the carpet, someone called and told me they picked out the wrong day for someone to come over and measure everything. Apparently they already had someone coming over and they were going to be here in 10 minutes. Hardly any warning whatsoever. This is just the beginning Once the person came, they started measuring everything, but apparently they measured more than what they were supposed to. TWO extra rooms and they weren't even cleared out to put carpet in like the other room and hallway was. So, to my surprise, they called about how much the estimate would cost for 4 different areas instead of what I asked for. I guess I should've kept a close eye on that incompetent moron. So, they said they had to re-estimate how much everything would cost, minus those extra 2 rooms. After over a week, I became impatient and called them first. They said they didn't have the estimate for me yet. Even though they had more than enough time. So, after that, over a span of a few more weeks, I have called a few more times. They said they were sorry and blah blah blah, telling me they would call me on Monday. What a surprise. They didn't. And to this day, still nothing has been done. Only thing I can do is annoy the hell out of them calling them all the time until they decide to actually do something for once. These people are completely useless and they waste too much time trying to make you spend more money. I guess a good way to avoid all of this ridiculousness is to pay close attention to the person who's measuring everything so as to prevent them from measuring more than what they're supposed to and wasting everyone's time.

Lack of product knowledge among employees. I can look it up on their web site faster than they can find what I'm looking for. Employees are constantly complaining. Two stars because there are a couple of conscientious employees there, and the cashiers are friendly.

Do *NOT* buy your appliances here. These clowns are as unprofessional as it's possible to be. I bought a quite expensive kitchenaid refrigerator from them. I paid a contractor to adjust my cabinets to ensure it fit. It took over 2 weeks to get delivered. The delivery window was 2 hours, given to me at 8:55 am for a window of 9-11 am... Very helpful, thanks. When they brought it into my house it had a huge dent in one door (why'd you bring it in when you saw that?) and the water dispenser didn't work. I sent it back, they said they'd call. Nobody called. I went back to the store, ordered another one. They gave me a date for delivery. Come the day of delivery, they called to tell me that it wasn't coming, and somebody would call me. Nobody called, again. I called their manager who played phone tag with me for hours, before admitting that they didn't have any of them in stock in any store, and that they wouldn't have any until mid June (6 weeks away). Ok, could they ensure that when it came in, it would be delivered? Nope, they're unable to attach my name to it, so I have to hope that a note hung up in their office would divert it before some random person purchased it off the floor. Long story short, I didn't get the fridge I wanted, I wasted money on adjusting my cabinets, and I'll *never* shop at Lowe's again.

Everyone was very helpful. Lawn and garden section didn't have milkweed for my butterfly garden. So I'm off to home depot.
