We stopped in on Saturday to check some prices on flooring. We are starting to build a house and was going to buy all of our hardwood flooring here. We had previously stopped at a competor across town and had a picture of some flooring we liked. We walked in was greeted and asked what we were looking for. We said we are going for a farmhouse look and are looking for some rustic type flooring. We had been thinking about Hickory. The gentleman grabbed a sample and threw it on the floor. I asked if he had a more rustic sample. He said this is all they make it in. All hickory is like this. I asked my wife to show him the picture from the other place then he gets really short with us. Then he started trashing the other place and said if you looking for something cheaper you need to go there. We had no issue with his prices but just wanted some with more character and a high gloss finish. He told us we needed to go to the other place. At that point we had heard enough and we left. I understand if he did not carry what we were looking for. He could have said that and we would have just left. He was very rude and we will not be back.

Danny and his crew are great. I just finished my second home renovation project, both times buying flooring from Direct. I'm a flooring noob and Danny helped me tirelessly with technical questions and offered great advice. This time, he informed me about a new product "WPC" which looks so much like real wood and is structurally perfect for my unconditioned office space on a concrete slab. The sales staff is super helpful, gracefully handling my extreme indecisiveness. Their selection is spot on. I got two different but both great products at very competitive prices.
