What a change of pace to deal with a vendor that works with you and ensures that a job is well done. Our new (and old) hardwood floors look wonderful! They had to match old to new flooring and did a great job. John and his team worked with us to meet our schedule and ensured we were pleased with the finished job. Will recommend to my friends and neighbors.

Wish I could give 3.5. Long story short; awesome product and great price for the service but the back end follow through has been a little rough. Also, be sure to have someone at home to monitor the project... If you want details: The difference between a 5 and a 3 for me is the degree I've had to manage my own project. The contracted installer began installing our flooring over top of the existing floors, which I had to catch debate, and then push for it to be done properly with the subcontracted installer. I'm glad I was at home to observe. Not being an expert, that was a very stressful conversation. Later, speaking to James he affirmed that removal was the right way to go (and what we paid for) contrary to the contractor's push the other way. The project looks great now but we are still, 2 months post project waiting for James final inspection which was promised during install..... For people that work from home or have to ability to be home during install, I highly recommend FCI. For those that do not have the time to be intimately involved, be sure to go over the work order in detail with all parties before construction begins and double-check to be sure the contract matches the work order.

FCI is an incredible company. Changing your flooring completely changes the look and feel of your home or office. Let John Gentry and his competent crew help you make the right choices that will last for years. I would not choose any other company after seeing first hand their work!

I can’t say enough good words about the team at floor coverings international. We had 3 quotes altogether and it was the professionalism of James Allbee and his patience with us (we’re not the best at making quick decisions!) that made it an obvious choice. From start to finish the communication was fantastic and the guys who actually installed the flooring were just as great. They dealt with our demon puppy and finished the job to a great standard!

I am an interior designer in the Lake Norman area and have used the guys as Floor Coverings International for a Kitchen renovation I recently worked on. They did a fabulous job and my clients couldn't be happier with their floor and wall tile. Thank you very much Floor Coverings International!
