Deposit cashed, but never started the job. It's now the end of February and 9 month that the company has not returned the deposit. They have no interest to return the deposit. It's time to get a lawyer involved. Never seen a worst company! Stay away from them. It's now almost 3 month after the company cancelled the job and they have not yet returned the deposit of $532.69. They said they would return the deposit "in accordance with their company policy". What is the company policy? To screw the customer? How can anybody trust a company like his? They should be ashamed to treat any customer this way. It shows how low there moral is. On May 30th 2017 I signed a contract with the company to "sand and refinish my hardwood floor". The contract value was $1,598.06 and a deposit of $532.69 was paid with the contract. The project was scheduled to start October 9th. and to be finished Oct. 13th. The company never showed up at the agreed upon date but sent an e-mail on Oct. 12th that "we will not be performing your project and the contract is withdrawn". Requests to return the deposit were not answered, even after the BBB sent them 2 letters. I'm still waiting for my money. Do you want to do business with this company??? Response to the company on 10/25/2017: The company received my deposit of $532.69 in May but cancelled the job on 10/12/17. A complaint was filed with the BBB and they sent a letter to the company on 10/24/17 to resolve the issue. No answer from the company. A 2nd letter was sent by the BBB on 11/09/17 with no response either. Only now, the company has time to respond to my on-line reviews within minutes of the post. I still have no word, if and when they are going to refund my deposit. The owner even posts a lie saying I sent the crew home. Why would I have done this?? Fortunately, a few days later I found another company to get the job done. I’m a business owner myself and have never had to post a complaint about a contractor, nor received any complaints from my customers. But there is always a first one. My recommendation is to stay away from people taking your money and not delivering.

Refined Hardwood Flooring did a fantastic job refinishing our late-50s-vintage floors. They kept to a tight schedule, which included working on Saturday AND Sunday, in order to finish prior to our move-in date. On top of that, the floors look spectacular, and the price was extremely reasonable. I'd hire them again, for sure.
