I love wandering around a Lowe's Home Improvement store! The amount of stuff there is amazing - you can find just about anything. The one in Banner Elk is no exception. Usually I get asked by everyone I pass if I need any assistance or help finding anything, but this one I only found one guy who was interested in helping me, and he was relatively new but knew his stuff.

We are repainting our summer home on Sugar Mountain and went to Lowes for some information and advise. Drew was very helpful in helping us with choosing the best primer and paint for the job. The Banner Elk Lowes' employees, under the leadership of Manager Dawn Roach, are always friendly and happy to assist the customers.

I was lied to by person on the phone. I called to verify 2 specific items because I was traveling a long distance. Person I spoke with said they had both specific items and good quantity in stock. Got there A short time later that day and they didn't have either item, In fact they don't carry the item until later in the spring.Manager didn't seem to care when I told him what happened and didn't appear interested in reprimanding staff in fact he defended them. I'll never spend five cents in that store again

The best lowes in the USA! We're remodeling in the area and have bought tons of stuff from them. The staff is very helpful and make great suggestions. Jenny F. in design is remarkable! She really knows the products and is very insightful. She went the extra mile for me many times staying late to make sure I was taken care of. Mike in cabinets is a master planner, quick with the cad program and had some very creative ideas turning problems into solutions. Sabina (cabinets) gave great, no nonsense, feedback. Tracey in appliances not only helped greatly in choosing the right appliances to meet our needs, but also worked a great deal out for us. Tracey also followed up just to make sure I knew to extended warrantee before the window expired, saving my butt. There are many great staff members, too many to list here. They must have a great store manager! Thanks all!
