Ran in to buy a new fancy deadbolt for the house. Wanted to see if they'd price match from online. The deadbolt company's website had it almost $65 cheaper. I asked customer service if they price match and they told me they did.
My issue isn't that they don't price match. Their website says they price match, but if you read closely it says they only price match against local retailers and only if they're not on sale. So that's cool. I can understand that.
What made my experience negative was that the lady at the register was going through a personal bag of hers and made me wait for her to finish. Then once she was done she looked at me like I was interrupting her. Then before I could finish asking if they price match she cut me off and told me no, while making no eye contact. The entire time she acted like I was inconveniencing her. Then she called someone over and they had no idea what they were talking about.
I eventually just told them nevermind, and then bought the lock online right there
