My Wife and I recently purchased a home in Monroe, NC and needed the hardwood floors refinished. We received several quotes and decided to go with Phil even though his quote was not the lowest. He is honest, on time for appointments, does his own measurements, offers to add new moulding in places you wouldn't think, and had our quote ready the very next day. His entire crew was very pleasant, respectful, and professional. The job was completed on time and turned out fantastic! Their quality of work is worth every penny.

I don't have experience writing reviews, but I use them quite often when buying a product or service. So I decided I should help others by writing about my experience. My husband and I recently moved to Charlotte and we wanted our floors refinished. After meeting with several people we made our choice and went with Phil, Charlotte Hardwood Giant. He was very professional, gave great advice and is extremely professional. His price was a little higher then others but the job they did on my floors is amazing. They took off all the shoe molding and replaced it and it looks better then when they started. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job on time. They did the whole job while I was out of town and Phil kept me updated the entire time. You won't be sorry if you choose the Hardwood Giant for your next flooring job. Thanks for a job well done!!!

I had an excellent experience with Phil and his team. I had my first floor refinished in order to create a more modern look, and I also had new hardwoods installed upstairs (after removing 30 year old carpet). I also had a pretty tight timeline, since I wanted the work done before I moved in, and my lease was ending soon. Phil and his team performed the work on time, and we are very pleased with the results. The upstairs and downstairs look brand new, and you cannot tell which floor is new and which floor is refinished. Phil kept me informed of his progress throughout the job. He has also been very responsive to questions that I have had since the work was completed. Thanks Phil!

Overall we had an excellent experience with The Hardwood Giant. We had about 1000 sq feet of existing hardwoods that needed to be sanded and refinished, along another 500 sq foot new hardwood that needed to be added. We could not be more pleased with the final product. The floor flows together seamlessly and the color/workmanship is amazing. Phil (owner) worked with me from start to finish, being the only person I ever had to speak with at the company. He was the one to give me a very thorough quote on the first day and was there first every morning to talk me through what they would be working on that day and answer any questions I had. I was also very pleased with the communication and customer service of the company. Phil took the time to go over every option with me for our floors and balusters, probably answering 20+ e-mails from me over the course of the experience. These guys did an awesome job and we are thrilled. We've gotten a ton of compliments on the flooring and I couldn't recommend them more. PS, we used Jacobean and Ebony 50/50 mix for the color. I'ts awesome!

Phil and his team at Hardwood Giants did an excellent job refinishing some existing floors and laying done some new floors. They look beautiful! They were organized, prompt, and professional. We would highly recommend them.
