Quality store, clean and stocked nicely. Employees are helpful. I can usually find what I need, otherwise they are happy to order it online. Although they offer to cut your wood there-- make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing. I ordered $70 of wood and had it cut to size, and they were all off by half to 1 inch. Otherwise, its the go-to place in Mt Vernon for home improvement.

Went to get a small part and found it easily. The electric scooter I was using went dead at the other end of the store, but an employee took it back for me and got me a fresh one! Very nice of him to help me. All the employees I encountered were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 2 thumbs up!

KITCHEN RENOVATION We recently had a home fire and had to replace everything in the kitchen from cabinets, to counters, flooring to appliances. We worked with Dean in cabinets and he was a real pro. Came to the ho use to measure and digitally created our new kitchen. He worked within our budget and offering many constructive ideas to make the final project something out of a magazine. Hes an asset to that store.

Big box store. If you know what you want and you can find it, it's easy and good value. If you fail either of those conditions, or otherwise need help with more than checking out, you're in trouble. Staff absent, selectively deaf, clueless or "don't normally work this store / section / area".

Everyone is so helpful at Lowe's. I couldn't find a 1 inch T, CPVC connector, and the associate took me right to them.
