I'm currently fully renovating my condo, and so I've been to Home Depot, Lowe's, and Harbor Freight Tools. I have to say the best customer service definitely goes to Home Depot and their product is always good. Their app is a godsend to help you find products quicker and easier, and people are always willing to help to help you find products quicker and easier. I love that the employees usually know what they're talking about, which is why I go here over harbor freight tools. Harbor Freight Tools definitely beats Home Depot in price but I like to come here for the knowledge of the employees and the customer service. I avoid Lowe's if at all possible because their customer service is terrible.

I have no issues with the store itself. The store is always clean and tidy, well stocked and well maintained. My issue lies with the customer service. I'm big on first impressions. I had gone here to find a replacement shower door and the stuff to go with it. I had a hard time finding someone to help assist me with getting the heavy beast from the shelf and into a rolling cart. I approached two associates who were just hanging out talking (about football) and asked for some assistance or if they could page for someone. Their response was cold, as if I was missing them. "There isn't anyone working there right now." And went back to their conversation, with me still standing there. So I went up to the customer service counter and asked for help. The response? "Order it online."......needless to say I went to lowes and found what I needed AND had excellent customer service.

I go to this Home Depot because it's close to my home. Prices are just okay. I rarely find a great bargain. But they have pretty much everything of course. And unlike a lot of places (I'm talking to you Menards) , there's usually somebody knowledgeable around to help you. The major downside is the way the company treats its employees (Google it) . Makes me want to take my business elsewhere so as not to make corporate rich at the expense of their employees.

Always good experience in home depot. They love veterans! One suggestion is to make the veterans parking space bigger. Disabled vets like myself need a little more space.

I went shopping for carpet here and I wasn't super happy with the experience. The man answered all my questions, but since I had never shopped for carpeting, I didn't know exactly what questions to ask. He didn't do a good job educating me about the differences between different types of carpet or padding. It was like pulling teeth. I bought carpet elsewhere.
