We had a great experience with the Erie lumber liquidators. Shawn was the employee we dealt with. Very knowlegable and helpful through the entire process. Absolutely no pressure to purchase. We absolutely love our flooring and will return for our next purchase.

I purchased a bamboo floor 2 years ago and I have never been so disappointed in a product. My husband was in the flooring business for 35 years prior to his death, and I helped him quite often, so I know about floors. It was installed correctly, leaving space for expansion and contraction. The first year it expanded so much that a board actually popped out. The installer came and fixed it. Now I have gaps all through the floor. I have had no remedy from lumber liquidators. As expected they blame the installers. I know it isn't the installers as they are very reputable and I know how this floor was to be installed and it was done properly. It should have swelled this summer as we have had the highest humidity in years in our area, but no, the gaps were approximately an inch. To top it off, this is only summer. When winter comes the larger gaps will get bigger. It is a mess. This is an engineered floor. I would not recommend buying a floor from them as they do NOT stand by their product. I tried to post without giving it any stars, but it will not allow that, so I have a one star. Doesn't even deserve that. I do not blame the store in Erie, just lumber liquidators company. The person in Erie tried to help me, but it didn't work. I bought the floor in State College, they gave me the address to contact the company directly. NO HELP

What we found at Lumber Liquidators: High-pressure sales, low prices and low quality. We purchased their middle-of-the-line laminate flooring, and while it was priced at less than $1/sq. ft., it was some of the most difficult flooring we have ever installed. (We've installed laminate, ceramic and porcelain numerous times.) Because the manufacturing of their laminate lacked precision, the flooring began swelling and creaking within one month of installation. Do some unbiased, third-party research before buying from this retailer. Their prices are great, but their products are poor.
