This is the first time I am giving a negative review, I was always taught if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all. I am Writing this for my mother who isn’t tech savvy. That being said we have experienced a horrible time with Johnson floor & carpet one! It started with an easy Tile installation that should have taken 3 to 4 days top, it is now going on 8 weeks. We paid over $7,000 in advance to ensure a high quality job would be done. The crew they sent out included 2 people. The main guy was hardly there and left the helper to do majority of the work which has me questioning the craftsmanship done. They never really put in a full day of work and ended up taking 8 working days to lay a simple tile installation. They started putting in the grout which the installer said this wrong color but still put it in. We spoke with management which will not return your calls. And they said they would take care of it which he did not we had to call a corporate office to even get someone out. That said they agreed it was the wrong color and stated they will need to stain it. Now the manager of installation personally came out to assess what needs to be done. The stain finally came in but did not have enough to finish the job. We took of a day for them to come out and they never showed up, got a call in the afternoon and they stated they are on another job and will not be out till Saturday. We are out lots of money for taking off to have a job completed that we paid for in advance. Also the installer placed a toilet that had to be removed for installation in the front yard as well as dump the tile cutting water in the front yard.WARNING DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL. They have obviously lost their ways and all they care about is taking your money! My mother came in by herself and purchased everything, it’s seems like they fed off of her being a woman who knows nothing about construction updates.

I went to Shop for carpet at Carpet One and was fortunate to meet a salesman named Jeff Rivers. From the moment he greeted me he was very courteous and professional, Mr Rivers was very knowledgable about carpet and flooring and answered every question I had. He wasn't pushy and he made it very clear to me and my wife that what was most important to him was making sure we were happy with our purchase. He told us also that he wanted us to be his customer and he was very sincere. We will be purchasing carpet from Mr Rivers in the very near future. I highly recommend Mr Rivers to anyone that is looking for a genuine person to help them with all there flooring needs.. Jason M..

I worked with Carpet One on my last remodel and was very happy with the assistance that I got from both my salesperson, Linda Brown, as well as the manager, Mark Peterson. Linda helped me choose the tile and carpet which looked great in the house. Mark was very helpful on the days when Linda was not available. I would highly recommend Carpet One to anyone. They made this experience very easy and enjoyable.... I'll be back again!

I had a really great salesmen at Carpet One Floor and Home. His name is Jeff Rivers. He never pressured me and was patient with us even though we still have not purchased yet. He was respectful and full of creative ideas. I also found out he is a Vols fan and I could not believe how a Vols fan from Tennessee would ever decide to live here. Anyway he is a good guy and if I decide to buy carpet I will buy it from Jeff Rivers at Carper One Floor and Home.

Had carpet and hard wood floors installed by them. They were hired by the restoration company. The carpet part went fine, my carpet is beautiful. They broke my bed frame when moving it and I was able to have them reimburse me for the cost of the repairs. Bernhardt bedroom suite, so top quality, not poorly made. But the hardwood floor was a nightmare. Yes, there was defective material involved, but it was installed defective and I feel that someone higher up, other than the installers, should have monitored the process, and checked on the installation as it was progressing. Not let the entire floor be installed, and me have to bring it to their attention that it is defective. That floor was removed. and more material brought in to install. This too was defective, and another installer was sent to do the job and he agreed it was defective and refused to install the material. A third set of material was ordered, mind you all of this is taking months to process, and when I was told it finally arrived, I was told they did not want to install it , because if it was again defective, they could not put in another warranty claim to the company and they wanted me to pick another floor! I asked them to examine the material before they installed it to be sure it was OK, and they said they would not do that, they didn't want to put any more time into this project because they had already had to rip out one bad floor. So I was being penalized for defective material, and I really felt like I was being bullied. I was told if I let this floor be installed and it was defective, I would be stuck with it. The final outcome was, I told them that was the floor I wanted, and to bring the material to my home and I would have someone examine the material to be sure it was fine. It was good and it was installed. Except the transition piece was installed so badly that there was this gap between my wall the the transition piece and it rocked back and forth! I made them take that out, they had to order another piece which took almost three weeks, and then their installer could not get the transition piece installed flush to the floor ( after four attempts ) and I had to have someone from the restoration company do that! Hardwood floors I have learned, need to acclimate to the environment that it is being installed into. The first time they delivered the wood, it was not given the proper amount of time before they installed it. If you are a professional, you treat your customers like a professional and perform your work like a professional. This entire experience with my hardwood floor was horrible. Sales people are always nice when they want to make a sale, but it is how you are treated when there is a problem that makes or breaks a company. I would not want anyone to go through what I had to with this company.
