I usually navigate through the store on my own and when I have needed help, I would normally get assistance in a reasonable amount of time. The time before this visit I waited several long minutes to get assistance. Tonight I was in a hurry because I had another obligation. I knew what I wanted and did not have time to "shop", I was there to buy! Anyway I came in contact with an associate and asked them where the location was for the specific object I needed. I was told next isle over, big isle, not a lot of time, what I really needed was to be brought to the section. Anyway, last two experiences wasn't what I was accustomed to and I did notice.

Very disappointed with Home Depot. Dish Washer advertised for $298. Good price on a dishwasher. Catch is Home Depot does not stock it in store, to get this item you have to pay $60 to have it shipped to the store. To the store? Really? You advertise a price, then once a customer wants it it turns into Oh by the way you have to pay an additional $60. I will be going to Hamilton Bryan to get a dishwasher. At least there I will know what I am going to be paying, and I won't be paying shipping for something they are advertising. Bad business practices Home Depot. This borders on false advertising! Just bought better model at Hamilton Bryan. In and out in 10 minutes got what I wanted and didn't get jerked around. Home Depot you have lost my business for appliances!

The only reason I rated Home Depot with one star is there wasn’t a choice for a negative rating. I went to the store on the 20th of February to order a new back door that featured a x-large dog door pre-installed. I explained that I needed the store installers to come install the door for me. The man helping me didn’t know what he was doing and was not able to work the computer program to order the door. I ended up at customer service and they finished out the sale.. I was told that the door would take 4 to 6 weeks to come in because they did not stock it on the store. 6 weeks later, not having heard from Home Depot, I called checking on my order. I spoke to a very rude woman that treated me like I was bothering her. She told me the door wasn’t in yet, and that it had to be reordered, because they ordered the wrong size. I was unable to go into the store for a couple of days to talk to someone face to face. I finally made it to the store about a week later. Come to find out, Home Depot cancelled my order, kept my money, and failed to notify me. Apparently, in order to have a door installed you need to place an order for someone to come out and take measurements, which made since. Cancelling the Oder didn’t!. The installer came out and took his measurements. The door that I ordered was the correct size, they just needed to know what other materials were needed to install the door. Mind you, this whole time, I have had to pin my dogs up in my bathroom. I work from midnight to noon, so you can imagine the result of having to do this.. We reordered the door and again I was told that it would take about 4 weeks to come in. They lady I talked to was very apologetic and assured me I wouldn’t have any more problems. About 4 weeks later, I received a call from the installer saying my door was in and that the first chance for them to install it was the 28th of May. I work holidays so when the installer said the 28th of May, I didn’t question it. I just agreed to the appointment and was told that they would see me at 1:30 that afternoon. The appointment day rolled around and I came racing home to meet the installer. The installer never showed. I went to the store, yesterday afternoon, to speak to a manager. The manager confirmed that the installer made the appointment for the 28th but never showed up to sign out materials. She was very apologetic and told me that she would email the installer to find out what happened I was told the installer would contact me, and that she couldn’t guarantee when they could reschedule my install. It is now after 2!the next afternoon. I have yet to even hear from the installer. All I want is what I paid for. I want my door, I want my door installed, and I want it installed correctly.
