Thank you so much Dalton Carpet for switching out our old carpet and putting in this beautiful wood floor in for our event space!

I was so excited to finally be able to afford to replace my carpet with flooring, but unfortunately I was sadly disappointed in my purchase from Dalton Carpet. I spoke with the owner, Rocky, about the flooring that I was looking at to make sure that it was pet durable and could handle pet accidents. I have a 5lb dog who only pees a small amount. I was assured that it was. The flooring is now warped and ruined in every little spot my dog has had an accident. At the front door it has lifted edges even though I have a entry rug. It only takes a small amount of moisture to ruin the flooring. This started happening within a month of installing the flooring. I called and spoke to the owner about my concerns. He said he would call me back but as of yet that still has not happened. I would not recommend this company as I feel that they will say whatever it takes to sell you something.

They were recommended by our contractor friends, and we were not disappointed. They work with sub-contracted installers, and we requested the one we were told to. The carpet after two months is holding up well. I took one star for a couple of reasons, not deal-breakers. First, our installer didn't stay on the job and instead left someone else to install while he went to another job, which doesn't inspire confidence. Second, we received an additional bill for "Additional Yardage" a month after the job was completed. I'm sure we signed something that said we agreed to that, but no one told us about it, so it was a bit of a surprise, and surprises are unwelcome in this type of relationship. So, recommended, with these caveats.
