Floor Designs Unlimited has a beautiful showroom that offers a large selection of quality products to choose from. The carpet is absolutely beautiful and the installers did an outstanding job on the installation. I am very pleased with the quality of the carpet and installation. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! I highly recommend Floor Designs Unlimited for their professional service, beautiful selection, and quality workmanship!

I’ve used Flooring Design Unlimited several times in the last 5-6 years. First was a remodel of my old home, including hardwood on the main floor, tile in the kitchen and entryway and hallway, tile for backsplash and carpet for stairs.n. Last year I had them replace carpet in the three bedrooms and tile the shower. Great work. They also did all the flooring in our new home, hardwood, tile in 4 bathroom, backsplash tile, tile in master shower, carpet in the bedrooms and game room. So a decent amount of work. A few months after moving in, we noticed this gap in the hardwood. They sent someone out, he said he needed glue to fix and would be back in a few days and never came back. I started calling Jason Pape to see when someone could come out. Left him half a dozen voice mails, emailed him, no response for two months. Every time I called the store I was told he just ran out. Finally mentioned something to our builders, who said they’d call. By this time, we now have boards coming up, many separating, so lots of gaps throughout. Jason finally called back, sent a couple people out, who said it appeared they didn’t nail the floor down like they were supposed to. Not sure yet if that means everywhere, or just in some areas. To fix, they ordered two boxes of flooring and quarter round. Three weeks later, a gentleman came out to fix it, but while we had the wood here, they didn’t deliver the quarter round, so he left. It’s been over three weeks, still no one has come out, and no calls. I called Jason a week ago and left a message, no response. I called the store Monday, and of course, he just stepped out, and I was promised he’d call me first thing Tuesday morning. Still no response. Until now, I’ve had zero complaints with their work. But we’re going on 4-5 months of trying to get this fixed, and still can’t get ahold of them.

I want to start off by saying the sales lady we dealt with was super great and I have no complaint against her. Also, the second installation contractors (this company contracts their installers) that came to our house were great . They are the only reason I am giving them more than one star. My issue is with the first set of contractors they sent to our house and how the company handled the situation. 1) We were charged for 2 days of demo work, however the demo contractors they sent out worked 2 half days (1 day total) and left early the one day because they said they had a sick family member. In retrospect as much as I hate to think it, i'm pretty sure that was a lie. 2)These contractors made a HUGE mess and kicked up a ton of dust due to the work they were completing. They did not attempt to cover anything to reduce the amount of dust that would be circulated around the house (close off doorways with tarps, cover vents, blow the dust out the windows with machines). 3) They changed the scope of work onsite to make the job easier. We agreed as they were the "professionals" and should know what they were doing. We found out afterwards that this was the completely incorrect thing to do, they were just being 'lazy' basically. They also installed the new sub floor with roofing nails, which we only found out about when the installation contractors came out. These nails are not long enough and are not make for flooring installs. 4) When the installation contractors came out (thank goodness it was different guys) they had to deal with this unexpected mess. They had to wait to talk to the company to find out how the company wanted them to handle the situation. FIVE hours later, 0 work is done in our house and I never receive any type of phone call or communication of a resolution. I never receive and apology or valid resolution. It was like a huge cluster F* and we are just sitting there like what is going on??? At this point it is evident that the prep work at demo time was done completely incorrectly and no one is taking charge in helping us fix the matter. It was apparent that the company was just looking out for themselves and saving themselves money. The "solution" they provided barely worked and still left us with uneven spots in the floors. There was no attempt that I know of from the company for them to eat ANY of the cost to 'make it right'. Maybe if there was an open line of communication and I had any clue what was going on at some point within those FIVE hours, we could have talked though our options better but it ended up being "This is what we are doing. This will work, it'll be fine." No one really explained what was going to happen and what the probable outcome would be. What we ended up with was uneven floors because the prep work was not done correctly to make them even. This was a horrible experience and extremely stressful. It was by far the most stressful contracting work we have had done at our house thus far and we have had a lot of work done.

Bart & my uncle dealt with Tyler Hoffman to purchase new flooring. He made the experience very pleasant & efficient. The options were overwhelming & he helped us make a great choice.
