We purchased, from LOWES, StainMaster carpet and installation back in April of 2016. Within the first 3 months of the installation, we started noticing carpet started to give away and creating rolls along some rooms and hallways. Once we noticed these issues, we contacted Lowes and the original installer came to our place to fix these issues by stretching the carpet where we noticed the problems. At that time the installer explained us that these are normal and should not occur again. However after another couple of months, we started noticing the exact same problem in both same and different areas of the house. After calling Lowes, same installer came back to stretch the carpet more. We have been told the same thing all over and told that this should not happen again. Following couple of months the same problems started happening again. At this time we refused to accept the “re-stretching” option and wanted a more permanent resolution from our sales rep. Lowes accepted that these might be related to the quality of the carpet and the “mill” who was producing the carpet is no longer in business. Months later we received a call from the store who sold us this carpet - Exeter Lowes. Pretty much what they said was that despite to their full agreement regarding the carpet being faulty and wrong installation , there will be nothing from them to help us further due to warranty period. This is in contradictory to our previous communications we had with this store whom told us many times that the product was faulty and the carpet was installed wrong therefore they were going to replace. We did not have this issue just recently, we had this issue since we purchased the carpet, which was recorded by Lowes every time we called, therefore playing the warranty trick is really what makes this whole experience even more unbearable.
