It's been a great experience with Lomax over the past month. I purchased laminate flooring for my living room and dining room, carpet for my basement stairs and an area rug / runner. I had a positive experience with my sales rep, Lou. In addition to working with Lou and observing other sales reps in the store, they are very non-pushy and know their products well. Stuart, the store manager is also great to deal with in the event that your rep is with another customer when you arrive. The installers were well-mannered, hardworking and showed up exactly on-time. There was a small issue with one of the laminate boards in my living room which was NOT the fault of the installer -- my poorly constructed floor foundation consists of cement blocks, resulting in an uneven areas. When I called to report this, they immediately took care of it and the installer was at my house first thing the next morning. I received estimates from other stores in the area and Lomax had the best prices. They have a well-stocked, great selection at the store as well. It was also great how they allowed me to take several area rugs home to test. If you're in the market for flooring, I highly suggest visiting the Lomax Exton location.

After disappointing experiences looking for tile at Home stores and the big tile stores, I was very pleasantly pleased to find exactly what I needed and with great service. I have used this place now for 3 remodels and they have been great. There are lots of choices - way more than you would expect given a smaller footprint than the big tile places. The last time, there was an issue with the wrong tile being shipped and they took care of it with no issues (and fast) - everyone made an effort to see I was satisfied ... the guys in back, the front desk, and the sales guy! The one big difference I found over the big tile stores was they can offer multiple sizes AND the trim pieces in the style/pattern you select. The big tile stores only seemed to offer a few sizes and I always had to hunt for a "similar" match when looking for the trim pieces (e.g., pencil trim, bullnose, ...). It was always an experiment rather than a stress free selection - Not here, though. I stumbled into "Larry" the first trip there and now I always go back to him for everything I need - he's very helpful!

Sales person and manager were very helpful with decisions about types and styles of carpet for our recent renovations. The installers were first rate - not simply professional with their work, but also a pleasure to have in the house. When there was a problem with some of the carpet color match, the manager went to bat for us and got the problem resolved. We have purchased several items from the store and highly recommend it.

Moving from out of state, it's hard to figure out who to call when you need help. Our realtor recommended we explore Lomax to find some options to refresh our new home. While their showroom in Exton is not the biggest, it is packed with possibilities. They have access to other stores & many catalogs, and had no problem getting us the flooring we needed. Ramzi came out to measure our home and worked with Lou, our salesman, who showed us many options. In the end, we got the exact flooring we wanted and installed when it was convenient for us. Once the project was complete, the crew cleaned up and left us their card if any issues popped up. I even received a thank you card from Lou. We appreciate the personal service. The administrative staff also deserves kudos for promptly fielding my numerous calls and questions. Thank you to everyone. We highly recommend Lomax to anyone.
