As a local remodeling contractor, I highly recommend Clinefelter's Flooring to clients and friends alike. I've been doing business with them for over 25 years and can attest to their professionalism and high quality products. Their showroom is always up-to-date and their service always impeccable.

CLINEFELTER’S SERVICE COULD HARDLY BE WORSE. Installing flooring is Clinefelter's main business. I am rating them based on how well they install their products, how well they repair mistakes, and how well they communicate. They are very bad at all of these. In 2006, we engaged Clinefelter's to install linoleum in our new kitchen. The linoleum has held up very well. GREAT product. HOWEVER, the installation left a lot to be desired. The installer showed up without a helper (which HE told us was a problem). We wound up with a much wider than recommended seam in the linoleum, running down the middle of the kitchen. Other seams were not properly filled and there were (and are) several bubbles in the flooring. We called Clinefelter’s. The manager (owner?) came and assured us the problems would go away given time. THEY DIDN’T. We called again, then again, etc. Eventually, a repairman came and refilled the seams, which by then were opening quite a bit. That “repair” did not last long. He came back again to refill the seam. That also did not last. We have repeatedly contacted Clinefelter’s, by phone and at their store, and have repeatedly been told that they would fix our floor when their workers were less busy with new installations. This year my wife tripped on the seam in the middle of a bare floor. In July, we sent a letter to Clinefelter’s laying out our problem and its history and asking them to make it right. They did not respond. In October, we sent a registered letter which they received and have ignored. CLINEFELTER’S SERVICE COULD HARDLY BE WORSE.

We had Clinefelter's Flooring put in a new floor in our main downstairs bathroom while we were out of town last December. We were very pleased to return home to the beautiful new floor! We would highly recommend them for their excellent work and fair pricing.
