I am a Lowe's fan, their stores are better organized and much cleaner!! The Wood is better quality. They have better cared for plants as well. Home Depot is also more expensive and harder to find someone for assistance. I did business with them in construction and always waited too long at the contractors desk. Go to Lowe's

Easy to reach by car or by RIPTA. Bike or walking would be OK, too, but I didn't see any kind of bike rack. Ample, free parking. There's a traffic control light at the entrance/exit so a left turn from the parking lot onto Charles St is easy enough. I had to wait quite a while to get help at the customer service desk in order to get directions. When I did, the person had no idea what I was asking for. Luckily for me, another employee nearby knew what I needed and could tell me precisely where to find it. Once in the spot that had the particular part I needed, however, there were NO employees in the vicinity who could help me with specifics. I finally left with "a" part (and a cold diet Coke), and hope it is "THE" part I needed. I think this particular store is under-staffed. Maybe the staff are under-trained also. I have been in other stores in the chain in which an employee was always near at hand, and the employees could direct me quickly to whatever part/s I needed. This store was a little weaker in comparison to others in the same company.

I needed to get 2 items fast...I knew where one was. Before I even approached someone, he was asking if I needed help. He also knew what isle the item in needed was in. I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

decent, most workers don't know anything now and they don't carry everything due to change of trends in economy and things being made in China, but it's home depot so give it a go

Always get what I want. Sometimes if you need help from somebody, it takes an hour or more to get their attention. So it's great as long as you won't need help with something
