The price was good!! Had a little problem with the installation, the carpet did not fit well under the closet doors. Other than that it was all good!

Heads up customers! I purchased carpet and padding at this store on August 7th, 2017 and I had every intentions of being a repeat customer. Salesman Chris was great, Carpet install went well, but WOMEN be alert and know what you purchased even the type of padding because if I had not the install guys Mike and David would had install the cheap standard grade padding, which I found odd sense they have the work order for the correct padding, that being number one concern, secondly installer big Mike has his on company and does a variety of things, we discussed many things I needed done around the house one was some tile, turns out he had 5 boxes of Mannington Tile he would install for 400.00, goes on to say half up front and cash only, well I gave him 200.00 and made an appointment, decided a couple of days later I would rather have him to do some painting instead of the tile and put that 200.00 toward my painting, needless to say carpet installer my Mike and David never called or showed up and it's been on going sense. I asked Mike to come pick up the tile and give me my 200.00 back which Mike said no problem. It's the honest thing to do, today is the 23 and he still has my 200.00 and I have the tile and no paint job. Mike talks a good game but he's shady and a Scammer. ALL be alert of carpet worlds install team, Mike and David and after all they do represent Carpet World

it appears, even with a small sampling of reviews, that this store has gone downhill. All the positive reviews are from 3+ years ago. My wife and I walked into the store this past Sunday (1/22/2017) with the intent on pricing and discussing the carpeting of 1400 square feet of our upstairs. When we walked in (we were the only customers in the store, as we arrived about 10 minutes after they opened), the lady behind the counter gave us a cursory and rather hesitant greeting - no "how may I help you" or "what brings you in today". So, the wife and I began looking at carpet samples and walked around for about 15 minutes. At no time did the employee bother to address us to ask if we needed help, had any questions, or anything. She just stayed behind the front counter, literally too involved in shuffling papers to be bothered by us. We decided it was time to go and leisurely headed for the door, looking at some samples along the way. We eventually walked right out the door, all without a peep from the employee. About 20 minutes in the store, plus the time to get to the store and back home - all in all about 50 minutes wasted. Maybe the store is in business to sell carpet the other 6 days of the week, but apparently not on Sunday. We purchased vinyl flooring from this exact location about 4 years ago and the experience was fine. Not so much this time around. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer service. Looks like we will purchase all of our flooring needs somewhere else.

Over the summer my husband and I went in for new laminate flooring and had a great experience. However, I called yesterday and spoke to Michelle about getting new carpet and she was so rude and nasty over the phone. She actually hung up on me because I asked a question about carpeting. She just wanted me to come in to the showroom, but as a customer I wanted to ask a few questions prior to. She was not happy about it at all. I do not know the least bit about flooring, therefore I had questions to ask. The same questions I ended up asking 2 other companies that I called for assistance. I was automatically more inclined to use Carpet world because of our prior business, but thanks to Michelle's horrible customer service, I am taking my business and money elsewhere.
