On Saturday, September 15 my husband and I went in to get prices and decide which products we appliances we would be purchasing. We were looking to buy a washer, dryer, stove, and dishwasher. Only one person asked us if we needed help. We returned on Sunday the 16th to make our purchase of a washer and dryer. No one offered us help this day. We had to find someone ourselves (and she didn’t seem very willing to help). She walked briskly over to her computer and began ringing in the items. We were informed that our items would be delivered on Thursday and that we would receive a phone call the day before, giving us our 2 hour time frame for delivery. No call on Wednesday. I called today, the day of our delivery, and spoke with someone in appliances. She said she didn’t know why we didn’t receive a phone call as it very clearly says we have delivery for 9/27. I said “that’s next Thursday”. The person who checked us out on Sunday did NOT state that the appliances would be delivered almost 2 weeks later! The lady in appliances told me there was nothing she could do, at which point I asked to speak to a manager. She informed me that the delivery date was very clearly 9/27, to which I reiterated that no one said that, they said “Thursday”. Why would I assume Thursday the 27th?! She said the best she could do would be to offer a 10% compensation, which will “hopefully be credited to the Visa you paid with”. Hopefully?! Washer and dryer are already unhooked (per the cashier’s instructions- to which the manager was surprised about). Long story short, we don’t have our appliances today, and we will not be purchasing appliances from Home Depot again.

Just about the only person in the store and nobody offered to help. That about sums it up. Went there to pick up some long decking boards along with some stain and other items. Got to the store on a Thursday evening about 7 and just about all the lumber isles were gated off, but nobody in sight. So I opened up the aisle and went down with my cart and started to load up some 16' trex boards off a high rack onto the car. Two orange shirts halfway down the aisle having a nice conversation, never paid any attention. Finally loaded up all my material and left the cart down the aisle to get the paint. Nobody in the paint dept. 3 orange shirt ladies talking up a storm so I go over and ask who is working paint. She'll be there one said. When I said. A couple minutes later she shows up and I ask her for some solid stain tinted a certain gray. Whats that she said. We walked up the aisle and found the right stain and once I was sure she had it I went to get screws and a utility knife. Again people working in the aisle, but never any acknowledgement or offer of help. Finally went back to the lumber area to retrieve my cart and the aisle is again blocked off. Cashier says to walk around to get it. As I made it to where the cart was, I saw another orange shirt who was a bit older than the others and I asked him what was more important, moving stuff or customer service. I think he got the idea since he walked ahead to open the gates. Afterward I checked out, 200 dollars later I parked the cart outside with all the long deck boards, pulled the car and trailer around to load up. And of course, no one around to help with anything. And I thought Lowes was bad.

Called this store to locate a specific item within the flooring department. When I called, however, the gentleman that answered in the department told me that he was too busy to take my call because he was "on the reach truck". I called back and asked for the kind lady behind the customer setvise desk and explained to her what happened. She dropped what she was doing and found the item I needed without hesitation. Thank you, Chloe, for going above and beyond for me when someone else chose not to. I greatly appreciate your help! Chloe, you are definitely a leading example of excellent customer service.

Awesome spot to shop for big or little diy projects.. I always go here for my woodworking supplies at a good price..the shelves are always well stocked ..I hardly ever can't find what I need here.. It's not hard to find lumber that isn't split or warped.. The only downside I come across regularly is the saws to cut down lumber are often broken.. And occasionally it's difficult to find a person to cut lumber when the saws are working..

Thankfully Margaret in Flooring was awesome, and she was so helpful that it made me stay, because when I first walked in there I couldn't get someone to help me for anything. I had several people stare at me and walk away from me to go talk to other coworkers so I figured I'd walk over there someone would help me, but nothing. I had to have the older Gentleman (Who was dealing with a difficult customer on the phone no less) get fed up with everyone just ignoring me and he came over (While still helping that customer on the phone)to make sure I found where I had to go for my appointment. That's all I needed too, I had my appointment in Flooring, and instead of me wondering around the store lost, I just needed someone to point me in the right direction SMH.. I wish I would have gotten the older Gentleman's name, he had a white mustache and glass and he deserves the credit for me not walking out, I could just imagine how much business he's prolly saved for Home Depot dealing with the other 2 meatballs! Margaret as well, her and the other few in Flooring were awesome. I wish I could do 2 reviews, because all the good was overtaken by the rudeness I had to deal with first!
