Poor craftsmanship and workmanship never consistent with time and very unprofessional would rate a zero

If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. I was a former employee who was a witness to all of their behind the scenes schemes. They rob Peter to pay Paul and that's putting it mildly. They take money from one job to pay for their supplies for another. They are never on time when they go out to do a job and ignore ALL customer complaints after the job is done leaving it up to the "receptionist" to deal with. I can't count the number of times that Joseph or his wife Cheryl had to pay employees cash because their checks wouldn't clear the bank. They are consistently posting for new "receptionists" (or should I say slaves) to handle their dirty work. Calling customers back to dispute issues because they refuse to do it themselves, double booking appointments and leaving it for their office staff to deal with, etc. I've worked for nationwide companies, Bank of America and H&R Block and have never had any complaints from previous management. I was looking for part time work and decided to put in my resume to this company. I was hired the same day and started the next day doing "clean up work" to put it mildly. I spent a few weeks being cussed out over the phone by MULTIPLE customers due to this company's lack of professionalism and numerous mistakes by their employees who installed flooring. Back to back calls from customers who were ripped off or had installers just not show up at all (mainly because they quit since they weren't being paid.) The fact that the NEX is still working with them is absurd to me considering I am also a Navy veteran. When I began discussing the unprofessional atmosphere (such as babysitting their children as part of my job title) along with the fact that I never knew if I was going to be able to cash my paycheck or not, I was TEXTED by Cheryl one morning and told that I was being fired because I was overheard speaking poorly of the company and I can't be trusted with what goes on behind closed doors. In my opinion, if there is something going on behind closed doors, not to be discussed with the public, that says a lot more about this company as a whole than it does me. This all being said, read the TWO reviews that they have on Google and make your own judgement call. As for me, I would advise anyone looking for flooring or for a job, to steer clear of Joseph and his wife. The entire company is a scam and is in shambles financially.

Mr. Gatlin and his crew did an amazing job on our floors. My husband and myself attempted to refinished our hardwood DIY style. Meaningless to say, Mr. Gatlin was able to repair and restore our hardwood after our botched attempted. They gave us a fair price, and had the job done within days of me contacting them. They are super friendly and easy to work with!

Do not use this company! It will be the biggest mistake you make for your flooring. Trust me. They rate zero stars.
