I was so pleased with the prices when I went to get a new washer and dryer. I was so excited to get the new ones which they said they would be here in 2 days.
I had told them I live on a military base and they seemed aware of the procedures of getting on base... they called me the day of the delivery AFTER the delivery window and said they had to delay me one day. That my new delivery window was 9-11 the next morning. I was totally fine with that.
Then, the next day they called and said they had to come the next day (Monday) because they couldn’t get on base.
First of all, why wouldn’t you be prepared to get on base for your first delivery of the day or try again and call me to see if I knew of a way to get on base. Instead they said “ok, Monday we will deliver it to you”.
Monday comes, I have received no call about the new delivery time and no apology for the extreme inconvenience. I call THEM at 10 AM, fully expecting them to say “yes ma’am you are our first delivery of the day, since you have been delayed so many times”
Man, was I wrong. He said “your scheduled for 7-9 PM” and that does not at all work for me.
I said “why wasn’t my delivery on the first truck?”
He had no answer.
This has been the WORST experience with a delivery I have ever encountered. All I ask is communication when something as expensive as a washer and dryer is in your hands. But I never once received the correct communication, never received a sincere apology and nobody had the common sense to have some good customer service and FIX IT.
I will not be recommending Lowe’s for the big appliances. I wouldn’t have a problem if someone was just communicating with me instead of me having to initiate coversation EACH time.
