We went to Lowe’s in Stafford this morning to purchase a landing for our steps. We purchased two last week from the Lowe’s in Fredericksburg where they are nice enough to cut the landings for us. The Lowe’s in Stafford refused to cut the piece after we had been waiting their for 20 minutes for someone to even come over to the wood cutting section to assist us. Lowe’s should have the same policies at all of their stores especially those within 15 minutes of each other. I would say that being new to this area, we won’t be giving the Lowe’s in Stafford any more of our business. First impressions and customer service is everything.

Store is pretty typical of most Lowe’s stores. Large store. Clean. Good selection, with one exception, that doesn’t reflect on the location, but, Lowe’s itself. They no longer sell Kobalt tape measures. They have been replaced with cheap Craftsman tapes. My Kobalt tape has both inch and fraction on top with metric on the bottom. None of the Craftsman’s do? If it ain’t broke, why fix it? So, - 1 star.

Back in July 2017 I bought a weed eater from this store (Troi bilt brand) supposedly with two years warranty from manufacturers, I am not a professional lawn cutter, this tools was just for my personal use at home, so I used just a few times during the 20-7 summer, great surprise when I tried to use in summer 2018 that thing didn’t work, just a few minutes after running it would shut off by it self, tried several times in different days with the same results, the I had a great idea just bring it back to Lowe’s since still under warranty, was just about a month after one year, guess what since I didn’t have a receipt and it was over a year but couldn’t find any information of proof of the purchase so they decide to take it or service which I agreed to pay for the service if it was something that was not covered under manufacturer warranty because since this equipment has model and serial number they knew it was still under warranty from factory, they had to toe for a few days to work on it finally got a coupon though said this is ready for pick up, I had to pay to about $70 because that is some cleaning oil change and basically the diagnostic was that was that the gasoline has water in it and It was the reason to be shutting off on its own so I was OK paying $70 for the service, it was not too bad after all, when I brought it back home and put new gasoline fresh gasoline and tried to use it again that tool was still doing the same thing. I am very upset about this brand I thought it was a good brand I paid almost $150 for this to David use just a few times as expensive now I have a tool that is not working at the additional seven dollars and $70 for repair which would just waste of money and I still have a tool that is not working

This location is not good due to 2 major reasons: 1) once you enter and cannot find the tools you need you have give enough time to find that particular stuff as there is no any available helper to assist or guide you, 2) there is always just one counter active and big long lines of customers to process the payment for the stuff you purchased. Recommendation: please if you to buy things you better plan plenty of time in this store, if you save time then this does not work for you.

Huge but clean place. Amazingly they didn't have the bug killer I wanted. They had everything else in cavernous place. And I loved it that they put the restrooms in front.
