Very nice to go to a Lowes and have workers who actually want to help customers. I was picking up wood fence posts. I was sorting through the posts and after I picked out the ones I wanted, I started putting up the 15 or so I had out on the ground. An employee came and helped put the unwanted posts back. At checkout another employee came up and asked if he could help me load them in the truck. This was a first for me to have employees going out of their way to help me. I live in Newport News and have been shopping at Lowes a lot more than most people do. I am impressed by the people at this store and I truly appreciate them showing that they care about their customers experience. It was a very nice experience to receive good old fashioned customer service as it should be!!!

Bad experiece with cashier Robin!! White women 50ish 60's, brown hair shoulder lenth. Stopped ringing up customers to ask me for a receipt for a plant!!! Which my husband took with him to the car, told me to leave my basket. Raining lightning and thundering. Thank you Robin for your hard work in ensuring that this 50 year old black woman, Us Veteran did not steal a plant from Lowes. I have never been so embarrased and felt so discrimated against!! Will not be shopping there again!!!!!!😠😠😠😠

I'm not sure why people looking for construction, home improvement or project material go anywhere else. The service is generally awesome, everyone is polite and helpful, the prices are low, the store is clean, they have ample registers staffed at all times and they carry all kinds of things besides construction and project materials. From returns to check out and lumber cutting, the store is great.

I had just bought a brand new mower at Lowe's and found that I was not able to pull the starter cord. Kelly in Lawn and Garden walked me through some steps, and she and her husband came to my house after work to fix the problem. Thank you for caring, Kelly!!!
