Great job...wood floor and tiles

Terrible communication, never follows through. I had originally contacted Sandra on June 13 over email about an issue I had with some flooring, she gave me a call, we discussed the issue, and sent a technician over in a reasonably fast time. The person arrived on time, said he'd either be back in an hour or call me within an hour. Never heard back from him. I called back a couple days later, and they said that's odd, but that they have take a note of it, and will get back to me soon. As you can see, this is 4 months later and still no follow through. I don't understand why they wouldn't want my money to fix the issue

We're still in the middle of this- so I will update as we go along, but my experience so far has been less than exemplary. I first phoned them back in early Sept, to arrange for someone to come out and pour some self leveling concrete in my downstairs room. The lady who answered the phone seemed a little confused, and couldn't seem to hear clearly. Nevertheless, after a few false starts, she took my details and we set a date for Thursday 14th, when someone would come out and do the quote. I was told they would call for the appt time. Thurs arrived, and no call, or contact, so I called back. It seemed the slip of paper had been lying around somewhere and no one had actually been assigned to come out. The lady who answered this time quickly organised for someone to come out that day, so I thought all was well. He came out, gave me a quote- mid range, so not too bad, and we arranged for the work to start Monday 25th of Sept. The man came out and started, but didn't plug the cracks in the slab, so I get a call saying that they need twice as much concrete as previously quoted, and suddenly my cost has doubled. I went downstairs, and saw the flow pattern in the concrete at the crack site; saw where he'd plugged a part of the crack, and called in my concerns. They came out the next day, and finished up the concrete, cleaned up the overflow that had seeped onto the lino, and leveled the floor. All good I thought. We had an appointment for them to come out on Tues Oct 3rd and lay the cork flooring. When the installer arrived, he told me that the flooring should have been in the downstairs room to warm up, instead of being in the garage, so he couldn't lay it then, as it would warp. Great. So- he moved the flooring into the room, but couldn't make it back until maybe the next day, Oct 4th, or failing that, for sure on Weds Oct 12th. So- here I am, taking time off work AGAIN, only to get a call this morning to say they can't make it out/ the installer is stuck on a job/ then his wife will be going into labour/ and now they can't make it out until Thurs Oct 19th! Pretty much done with this shoddy scheduling now and ready to pull the plug. We're moving internationally, and I need the house finished before I can put it on the market, so these delays are totally out of order. What I've concluded up to this point? Don't trust their timelines, as their scheduling is broken. Don't trust their quotes-they double. The one positive note, is that when the work was finally done, it was done well, but that is more a credit to the gentleman doing the work, than the company.

I needed a small piece of vinyl flooring to put down in an outside storage closet. The women I talked with at Fantastic Floors treated me like a a person who was getting ready to spend a lot of money instead of a little. They found me a perfect scrap in exactly the color I was looking for, gave me an amazing deal, wrapped it up so it wouldn't unfurl in the car and tole me to call if I had any questions about cutting it to size or installing it. Based on my tiny project and the huge service they provided, I will definitely use them again when I get ready for a bigger project.
