What can you say about a home depot. There's not all that much that differentiates one from the other. I can say this home Depot has been often times more organized in the small parts bins that I have used. I've been coming to this one regularly since moving near by 3 months ago. I have attended one class offered on a weekend about bathroom renovations. Was more geared to those who have never done their own home maintaining projects, maybe newlyweds or first time home buyers. Was good for the wife to see how easy and or complicated different tasks were. I asked a few more advanced questions and the gentleman either knew the answer or got me the answer before we left the store which was great. We'll keep going back, but again nothing significantly stands out about this one Home Depot over another.

I've shopped at this Home Depot a few times and I've had a general hit or miss with the employees. Some are very helpful, but the majority of them act like they're too busy to be bothered with anyone. Unless they think you're stealing. I came to this store yesterday and very quickly realized I was being tailed by loss prevention. No big deal. I understand a store needs to protect their assets and taking my time shopping probably set someone off. However, you'd think that after following someone around the store for over 20 minutes, who is clearly not showing signs of being a petty thief, they would leave well alone. I eventually got tired of being followed around and took my purchases to the self-check out. It doesn't stop there! An employee then came up and began ringing up my purchases saying I couldn't do it myself while they had someone stand behind me, and had another employee follow me all the way to my car! Not the way to keep a customer!

7 or so weeks ago my wife and I hired Home Depot to replace our roof. We had an inspector come out while I was gone, my wife was home however. After his inspection my wife asked him directly “ how does it look?” His response was along the lines of ‘it looks great nothing to worry about’. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago come to find out we had mold and insulation issues. The project couldn’t proceed without he issues being addressed, thus pushing back the date we were told before back approximately 4 more weeks. Also seems that the original date we were told was a flat lie. Will not be hiring Home Depot for any projects ever again.

I went to Home Depot looking for a chain saw (after had rented one from the store). The rental associate explained to me how to use a gas operated one, I never used one before and he said: You're going to like it, and next time you probably will get a bigger one..." and indeed after using it and after returning it I decided to purchase one (sorry I don't remember his name : (... I went to isle 46 where I saw few brands and sizes and while I was looking confused this associate approached me and ask me if I needed some help? I'm looking to purchase a chain saw...so been knowledgeable on the matter, he explained to me about electric and gas powered ones, I want a gas one for I just returned one and I liked it. I looked around and there were about 6 other customers awaiting for assistance, but Mr. Ward was kind enough to even tell me about the safety PPE, the gas needed, how to mix it etc that's needed to operate a saw(good looking out!) I was really impressed! After I thanked him for his assistance I asked his name ( he pointed at his name tag) noticing the other customers, he said: " Who is next? As I slowly walked away, I heard how he with so ease began engaging with other customers very candidly and a smile at that moment I decided to find a supervisor and to tell her(Mila) what a great associate he is. She thanked me because not so many customers take the time to give kudos for awesome assistance from an associate. Again THANK YOU WARD!!!!

I asked three different employees what should have been a simple question. Each one of them read the label on the product ( which I had already read) and could not answer my question. Bad training, low competency.
