I am writing this regarding the delivery and installation of a dishwasher. Per Washington state law, the installation needs to occur at a different time because they need plumber to install it. That's fine, I'm not arguing with that law. What I am more annoyed by is this was paid for over a week ago, and the appointments are not linked. I had to call separately to schedule the appointment, and they don't have any appointments until next week. I also work night shift, and when scheduling the appointment I asked if I could have them come in the afternoon. I was told that isn't possible because it is based on your zip code. The other day available when I am not working is a week later than the delivery date. Who wants two dishwashers sitting in your apartment for a week or longer?? Overall, this system isn't a good one. I did not ask for a specific time or anything ridiculous. I would just like someone to come after 12 so I can sleep a little bit before working a 12 hour shift overnight. It's a lot to ask for, I know.

Get the app on your phone. It's much easier to find what you need using the app than asking an employee. It gives you the aisle and where in the aisle to look for what you need. The home Depot has lots of useful items and tools but I do not recommend getting any lumber there. It's hard to find straight and true pieces of anything. Go to a real lumber yard for your construction needs.

115th & Aurora Ave. N. Customers around store not being very careful with their cut wood, almost got hit in face with one walking with it on their shoulder. I also have trouble with signage being too small and too vague. However, once I located the item, it was in good placement, good condition, and the rest of the process went very smooth and quickly.

Home Depot is focused more on supplying remodeling materials instead of decorating and organizing materials as is Lowe's primary focus. I needed a T12 LED tube to replace a burned out fluorescent tube in a 35 year old fixture and it took me 2 min to find at Home Depot. The Lowe's down the street only stocks T8 LED tubes for newer fluorescent lights and only packs of 12 non-LED T12 tubes if I didn't want to upgrade to LED bulbs. Home Depot also has far more electrical, plumbing and construction supplies than Lowe's.

Big box home improvement and lumber store. Covers most aspects of home repair and remodeling needs. Outdoor lumber area offers direct drive in for easy load and purchase of lumber materials.
