The managers are easy to work with for my non-profit group. The Lowe's staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I'm coming back to Lowe's for my own housing projects.

Jamie in the appliance dept was extremely helpful in matching my needs for a refrigerator. She took the extra steps to make sure I had what I needed.

I came to buy an adjust-a-gate. There were none in lumber so I was sent to the other side of the store. There were none stocked there but the associate told me there were five available in store, available and not pre-ordered. When I returned to lumber the associate there looked briefly for them, then told me they were all pre-ordered, what would appear to be a lie, as I had already been told otherwise by the other associate. I went home and ordered one online. I came to pick it up and they said the order had been cancelled, but I had never been notified by phone or email that a cancellation had occurred. When I asked why, I was yelled at by Carmen in customer service. She refused to investigate further or provide any further help. I have loved shopping at Lowe's in the past but this was a terrible experience. There is room for improvement in several areas and I hope steps will be taken to do so.

So there are a few decent employees that try to help, especially the ones up front. Most of the ones on the floor will book it and try to hide from you if you have a question. Severely understaffed and what little staffing is on the floor doesn’t do anything. It’s almost as if 1/10 people actually work there and the other flee down a hidden corridor. On the off chance you get someone to talk to you they don’t know what a copper crush washer is...
