I'd rather shop at Menards than Fleet Farm. They have a good selection of products at reasonable prices. Like others have mentioned I don't think much of the new set up. Customer service is so so.....if you find the right person. If you're a contractor and need something loaded up in the yard, you better not be in a hurry. I can count numerous times I was the only person in the yard and waited over a half hour for a kid to come out with the forklift to load landscape material on my truck. You will have to either have to go back into the store and ask for someone to load you, or walk around the yard until you come across someone.

My husband and I redid our hardwood floors. Went on a Saturday to rent a sander. Got it home and after using it for a few mins it started leaving a residue all over. Had make a trip to get a different sander and spend extra time trying to remove said residue. Sunday we rented a machine to polish the floor.... They didn't send us with necessary parts to the machine so yet another wasted hour as we live out of town. The second mishap they told us to keep the rental overnight. Go to return it and they denied telling us that and tried charging me extra. We will rent and shop elsewhere. Have never had this trouble from other places. Lesson learned.

Just made a stop to find a specific part for are bike rack. The customer service was great and helped me to find what I was looking for! 👍

Menards has a much better selection of gardening supplies than Wal-Mart. I will be going to Menards first from now on. And the new lumber dept is very nice. It seems like there are a lot more employees in the department now so getting your lumber order seems much faster.
