I’d like to say that I love coming here, I usually have great costumer service! Today was like any other wondering day aimlessly in Home Depot, I had to asked several employees for help and they were so wonderful. I had several items in my cart and my final item was a 50# bag of quick cement(creating some weights for an upcoming art show). I decide i was ready to check out and ask the cashier if she could call someone to help me get the bag of cement in my car. I waited for a while then asked her, if I should be somewhere specific so they could see me. She replied no, with no additional information. I then see two male employees come through the door with a crane and a palette with cement bags on it oddly enough! I thought they were going to ask if I needed the help so i just starred at them (they were talking about work so I didn’t interrupt) nope, they just walked away... so needless to say I was frustrated. I decided I would just do it myself (I workout a little, had actually just come from the gym. Thought no big deal...) well it was a big deal I ended up throwing out my lower back attempting to get it in my car. After catching my breath and painfully walking back to the store i had asked a young gentleman by the entrance to help... Now my productive day has become RICE instead. Just frustrating that there seemed like there was no awareness or urgency in the final steps of my time at Home Depot.

Wanted to order a couple patio doors doors and get them installed. But guess the girl was on break... Seemed very put out that I wanted something. So I'll take my business somewhere else. Ugh!!!!

A good all around place to find everything for your home. You can choose building supplies for do it yourselfers, or you schedule for help through the store. You can get plumbing, electrical, supplies from the construction stage to the final finishing touches. Also appliances, flooring of all kinds, window treatments, and all the hand tools you need. Then you can get lawn mowers, grills and all your outside needs. Plants and trees available too. A great place!!

Helpful greeter. Told me the exact aisle to find sandpaper for mouse sander. Gal at desk told me where to find clothespins, but it took me 3 passes to locate the tiny bin, floor level, where they were almost hiding. The place was hopping today.

Everyone was helpful and informative. Came in looking for sealant and surge protectors and I was able to find them thanks to the help of the staff. Only reason it wasn't a 5 star experience was because of the cashier. Her name is Samantha in case a part of the management team is reading this. She didn't greet me, which is fine, not ideal for someone working with customers, but she's young and you see that less and less, I could have ignored that. There was a problem with the chip reader while it read my card and instead of providing any feedback she just let me deal with it. I inserted the card twice and it rejected it, I tried swiping, which didn't work, and to that she sighed like I didn't know what I was doing, tried the chip again and the machine said there was nothing in it. The cashier did nothing but stare at me until I told her what it was saying, then she reset it on her computer. This happened twice more, the entire time she was silently staring at me. She didn't call anyone over to help her or me, she didn't read what the computer was telling her. Eventually the machine prompted me to swipe the card instead and it worked, and then she looked at my products, didn't bag them, didn't ask if I wanted them bagged, just walked passed them and greeted the next customer. It wasn't a self check lane. I don't need to be greeted. And I don't need help with the machine I guess, I figured it out eventually, and I don't need anything bagged, I did it myself fine, but then what is her job. To give me my change? It was a frustrating experience.
