Robert and the team at Nelson Hardwood did a great job with our home flooring project. They replaced carpeting in our living room and bedroom hallways and beautifully blended into the existing hardwoods. It all looks seamless after the new stain was put on. The crew was hardworking, professional, and went above and beyond to complete the job in a timely manner. I would recommend Nelson Flooring.

Had an amazing refinishing experience: it took only 10 days from my initial inquiry to the end of the process. Rob was extremely responsive over phone, email, and text, and was happy to answer my dozens of questions about hardwood. The team noticed that one of the rooms slated for refinishing used engineered wood that might show plywood after sanding, and Rob convinced me to leave it alone and drastically reduced the price. They replaced, for free, a board through which the previous owners had drilled a hole. And the quality of the final floor is just gorgeous; we really couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

They took the time to answer all our questions so that we had the right hardwood for us. The owner was very honest and told us what he initially thought we needed done wasn’t necessary after all (after he pulled up the carpet) and his honesty saved us thousands. The workers worked hard, were friendly and very respectful. The job was done when we were told it would be. I’d recommend them to my family & best of friends!

They were able to work with my timeline despite high demand and nobody could beat their price. They refinished and installed some flooring my home, both look great. Robert was also very helpful in answering questions, he even advised us not to put hardwood in our kitchen because it would not blend well and would have been very expensive. I appreciated his honesty and advice.

A month ago we bought a new home that was built only 4 years ago. Shortly after closing we discovered the wood floors had some serious issues. They weren't done properly 4 years ago when the house was built. They had swirl marks from over sanding, excessive sun fading, improper stain/seal coating present. So I called Robert from Nelson Hardwood Flooring. He was so professional, informative and straight up with me about what needed to be done. Felt very comfortable with him right from the start. His pricing is right no for the amount of work needing to be done. He fixed all the issues we had with our floors through taking them down to the bare wood and doing a complete restoration on the floor. The beauty of these wood floors now is amazing. So smooth and rich in color. The stain and seal coat will last for years!! They look so good now! Thank you Robert (and your staff) for your expertise and going the extra mile on our wood floors!
