This is one of the nicer Home Depots I have been to. Located in an upscale area, it's extremely easy to access from Jefferson Blvd which has 4 lanes in both directions. There is always ample parking with 3 exit/entrances. The store itself is always clean and organized. Employees are always friendly and helpful. It can get crowded like any Home Depot but normally it's not too bad and the checkout lines move quickly. They have a huge selection of plants in their garden section, definitely a one stop shopping experience for all your gardening needs. This is a great place to shop for Christmas items during the holiday season, they have a large selection of lights, ornaments and other decor. Also probably the best place to find a Christmas tree for a great price. Their tree lot is huge, they have plenty of trees to choose from and the purchasing/loading process is usually quick.

Today was hot and there was something wrong with one of their machines at the check out of the nursery. The line was 10 long not moving anywhere. Then this employee started handing out free bottles of water to everyone in line! Bravo sir! Yes the wait was long but thought that was a really good gesture on home depot.

The service at this particular Home Depot is pretty uneven. I've never been disappointed by the paint department. Go off hours is you can to avoid crowds. The nursery is pretty well stocked and have a decent variety throughout the year. Prices on the basics, like soil and fertilizer are OK. On the other hand, I've never had much luck find hardware or plumbing parts. They seem to be consistently out stock of what would seem to be basic items like PVC elbows or #8 stainless bolts. If you need to get a key cut, save your money and drive up the road to Advance Lock and Key, where you can get it done right for the same price.

This Home Depot location has more top shelf items than typical locations. Unfortunately, the customer service only seems to want to help when you track them down and wait in a que for a simple question. The place is convenient to get just about anything for your home improvement project, just don't expect anyone to help in the process. It's a shame because it could be such a better experience with minor adjustments.

Why do they even answer their phone? Every question I asked them had the same answer:"You have to come to the store and check it yourself"! Just leave the outgoing message with the same content and we won't waste our time holding for your useless "associates". Can you imagine your savings on Salary and Workers Comp if you eliminate them? I guess Michael Hill (See 3 months ago) has the same experience with them...
