On my visit today around 7pm on 5/16/18, I was in plumbing and had a few questions pertaining to fittings, an older man with salt and pepper hair was kindly helping a gentleman, I asked if he could assist me when done and he said he had to help him get two more things and he would help me, in the mean time two other people pop up needing assistance and this guy bypasses me assisting one man, looking right at me assists the other man, and then a black lady approaches me an employee with Home Depot vest on, she didn't ask if I needed help and he again by passed me telling me he would be with me in just a moment. Upon checking out the same black female employee when I asked for the Managers name and she told me the man she was speaking to in plumbing was actually the assistant Store Manager. I questioned why she also bypassed me not asking me if I needed assistance as she just looked at me and she apologized. Incompetence and simply NOT caring about the duties and responsibilities of one's job description, failing to greet, and offer a customer standing in confusion is neglect, and failure to offer customer service, much less excellent customer service. Poor customer service in 15 YEARS, is the only type of service I've received at this location.

Home Depot continues to go down hill. Can't find help in the store. If you ask someone something, they either don't know or give you incorrect info. Check out is a nightmare. 8 new self check lines, but half are roped off. Use one and it stops and requires "assistance ". Then you wait for the one employee trying to manage 4 checkouts. And the store used to so nice. Pitiful service.

A very nice Home Depot. The staff has always been helpful when I ask questions or make returns. I have learned a lot of what not to do by getting my questions answered. I mainly visit gardening, electrical, and the tool areas. This place gets busy with customers but the checkout lines move fast. I don't have a lot of complaints about the Home Depot's in the St. Pete area. All are pretty consistent in service in my experience.

A particularly clean and well organized home depot that appears to have had a recent remodel in their customer service and cash register areas
