David and Deedra helped me, I wasn't rushed into making a decision. They have many many products to choose from.

MY FAMILY LOVE THE WORK THIS COMPANY DID FOR MY MOTHERS HOME. WE REFER TO MANY PEOPLE AFTER THE STORM LAST YEAR.

Dec 5, 2017
Oh boy! Where to begin? This is my third time to use this company for a home I've only owned for 5 years. When I first bought it, I used them to update the kitchen and three closets...and if I remember correctly, they did a fourth for free. Anyway, I dealt with David for that whole project. Everything was smooth (or as smooth as it can be when dealing with contractors). It was done a few weeks past the "due date" but it was fine. I loved my kitchen. Jump forward to the tax day floods...I was under water. Almost all of my new kitchen was completely ruined. I was heartbroken. My insurance company was being stingy and trying to give me nil on my cabinets. They were saying they would only pay for lower cabinets, when clearly I needed all new cabinets, as my home was under nearly 4 ft of water. Anyway, one of the owners (Muhammed maybe?) called and got them to give me what I was actually owed. That was a relief. I was very happy with the drying out and the rebuilding. Not to mention the beautiful upgrades to my already upgraded kitchen! So, fast forward to Harvey--well, I was again heartbroken, as was my very patient wife. I was done. I was angry. Matt, my sales guy, did all the grunt work for me. I never even spoke to the insurance guys this time. My house was dried out (again) and we are currently in the renovation stage. They have saved me a lot of anguish. I am pleased with the work. Obviously I would use them again (hopefully that never has to happen!)

My mother moved into her home two weeks before Harvey hit. She was under water by the end of that week. It was chaos. She was devastated. All our family photos, books, heirlooms, etc were all gone. We called the insurance company and they were not willing to give us anything. FEMA was so freakin’ difficult! We were referred to Floor Spring Designz by my mom’s friend from church. I was the one who called and spoke with Dedra. She was very nice, she was very knowledgeable. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. My mom stayed with me through the whole long process but as of this week, she’s back in her home. It is better looking than it was before the flood. Grateful for these guys (and Dedra).

Beware! FSD is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. We bought a house in 2017 and contracted FSD to do the renovation work, a job that was scoped out around $70k. We picked them because their reviews on google were very good and indeed, initially, working with FSD was great. They helped us design the layout, pick out materials, and gave really great suggestions for the job. However, the nightmare started once the job was handed to their foreman and the work began. The entire job was plagued by poor quality work, damage to my house, and incredible delays. The job was estimated to take 4-6 weeks but that stretched into 5 months simply because contractors would never show up. In addition, most of the work was pretty sub-par. I walked through the house with one of the managers near the end and even he was surprised that the foreman had allowed such low quality of work to pass. However, even though he acknowledged that it needed to be fixed, he hasn’t done anything! I’ve been incredibly frustrated by the lack of response from them throughout the whole project. Whenever I would express concern over an issue I was assured that it would get taken care of during the ‘punch list’ at the end. Well, guess what - I couldn’t ever get them out to complete the punch list. I have had to complete much of the work and clean up myself. They told me I should have be doing the work myself (I agree!) and they assured me that one of their ‘best guys’ would be out to take care of everything to make sure we are satisfied. However, after several months of not getting a response from them I now realize that they’ve been paid and I’m never going to be able to get them out here. Do not do business with FSD!!!
