Terrible customer service. They screw up and you pay

I went to them for an out of province inspection as they were one of the lowest prices ($150 at the time). Unfortunately my car didnt pass but Lorne was extremely helpful in providing me with a bunch of options from getting it fixed there or elsewhere, taking it back to BC to sell it or trading it in here. After deciding to keep the car and fix it, when the battery died they were also very helpful in providing me honest options and advice as to where not to buy a new battery from and where to look instead. I would highly recommend anyone to go see Unlimited Performance. Their labour prices are a tad on the high side, but you get what you pay for!

Seem to do good work. Tight knit group of friendly staff

I have a 1996 GMC 2500 with only 85,000 miles on the body and drive train. I put in a new 5.7 vortec and needed the proper exhaust system to go with it. I first brought my truck to Carline / Calgary Muffler on 58 ave SW. I told the fellow (Al) that I expected quality work and chose his shop based on web reviews. This was a bad decision...The first time I was there he sold me a Flo-Pro baffle system muffler($280), he installed a tail pipe from the muffler to the back of the truck and put no less than six restrictions in the tubes. His weld joints sucked! Most of my family are welders and I would be ashamed to show them what I received. His intermediate pipes were joined to my lead exhaust pipes from the engine and he made a terrible mess of that too! The second visit to this shop for corrections was no better than the first and I searched out a shop that knew what the heck they were doing. I found a good shop and they were informative. They shared a bunch of information with me and together we made a decision on what type of muffler system was best for my truck. They put in a Magnaflow with a pre-formed tailpipe and called me before putting on a great stainless steel tip. This install was very professional, he backed up his welds with proper clamps and did custom hangers. I was proud to take some photos of the final system and he even waited for me to arrive so the truck was still up in the air for me to inspect his work. If you really want to be assured of a quality install, go see Unlimited Performance & Exhaust in Calgary.
